As a pure Wraith main for about 3 years straight I agree, he is simply the easiest pick up and play killer because he just makes the basics far easier to get the hang of, and while his stronger addons could possibly propel him to high B, his base is very middle tier, there are certain ways you can do skill expression (I.E. bodyblocking, uncloak dashing at loops, fake cloaking to offput newer survivors) but there's only so good you can get at those, and playing him in any way other than his strongest playstyle, hit and run, can increase the fun but also make games harder especially in higher mmr.
Although Wraith is boring at times and hard to deal with skilled survivor teams, I'll always appreciate him for being the killer that started it all for me and kept me playing the game.

Yeah, I love Wraith and he can be a lot of fun imho. However, I do think he teaches a lot of bad habits to newer players. Especially camping and tunnelling, since his power allows him to stand stealthed just outside of the anti-face camp.

Absolutely right about the point that Addons, Myers is a good example too…sure he is strong when he has the Tombstone Piece, but without (and sometimes even with) he is bottom D Tier and will be there. Also absolutely right about the variety aspect, for me his variety comes in combination with perks and addons because you can slap most of them on him and he feels sometimes more flexible than he really is.
One thing in skill expression I would add is how you uncloak around corners, since the first "bong" doesn't come immediately and saves you distance because survivors run later.
Another thing is the design of the analysis and what the results mean/show at the end. One week of gameplay is fine for straight forward killers, who doesn't have that much depth for their gameplay loop. But for more complex killers (either mechanics or gameplay loop) it's a rather small sample size.
C-Tier is absolutely a fair placement and I think that some people are pretty biased when someone is talking about Wraith. Before the Billy Rework he was my favorite character of the starting three and in my opinion he is the best M1 Killer to learn the game at the start.

Personally Wraith's fun comes from occasionally playing him to see how much better I've got at the fundamentals of the game.
I think he has too much counter play that gets on my nerves for me to main him.

wraith sucks for sure, i've played him a lot over the years and although he's way better than he used to be, he's a pretty bad killer. i'd put him in a c tier myself

Wraith losing his big speed boost messed him up so bad that was your chance to actually do something at a loop good for beginners that's sadly it

Wraith is simply addon dependent. With good addons, he can be fun. Thats all it really comes to.
