His add on to make his detection range bigger actually makes his gaurds good as you can actually use them to cut people off better.
The amount of times you actually drop a guard right on top of somebody and they make another distance to be just outside of it when it's fully spawns is maddening.
The add-on makes it so it's almost guaranteed they're going to get chased if you drop it directly on them when they running away.
You need to use the guards to route survivors or corral them like sheep. Cut off paths, stick them in the middle of the shack, etc.

He’s a pretty bad killer if it’s an experienced group or SWF. They know the AI is rubbish and it’s easy to see the ability being cast and it’s route which takes up precious time. I was all hyped when I heard of him but they’ve nerfed him too much on release. His perks are pretty useless too, getting stunned creates exposed for 20 seconds but it can take longer to catch that survivor, kicking a gen to get the aura perk should still work with the guards, the scream one is so inconsistent it’s just a risk using it.

Like with Deathslinger you can at least to dodge the shot and wiggle and crouch, Dredge you can try try to mind game the husk and gamble to double back or run threw it at a loop. Artist she puts the crow at pallet and you can at least try to run into it path and double back or gamble to run threw it. You can try a little something on other anit loop killers..
This killer? He just plops the guard down at pallet you have absolutely no choice but to just get hit while you just try to run to next pallet. He's a great contender to be one of the most boring hated killers in DbD with how lacklustre and braindead his gameplay is now. Yes i get it.. he weak. But you cant deny this playstyle is so unhealthy for the game since it just gives free hits with no skill with no thought process what so ever. I can see people just starting to DC or killer themselves on first hook vs him soon until something gets done. Im completely bored of him already since everyone is playing him like this now and he needs a rework already.
The Knight has the best W game play in dbd.
He is great at most loops but a main building… oh man the horror.
Scott did make a good point that the best way to play knight is to just drop a knight right away next to the loop, which is a lame but effective way to play knight
honestly yeah, knight was the first killer I legit wasn't very excited about when I saw him in ptb but as I play him more he is starting to grow on me, although I still think he's not good there are lots of creative things you can try with the power and I love it

The knight's units follow the exact same path the survivors took. I'm surprised no one's realized that yet

so i've come to the conclusion that the knights in game is a massive wet fart on behaviors half. he's the only killer in the game whose ability in every single aspect is shown to the survivor, like. what. the hell. they can see my next guard by the glowing icon on my arm, they can see me in the patrol state as an orb, even though i dont think i can see them for some reason. they can see the big ass circle representing the guards aggro range, and they can see exactly what the patrol path of my guards are gonna be. thats literally all of my power given to them on a silver platter. except plopping a guard down instantly at a loop to scare them off it, i honestly may as well never even click m2 lol
who the fuck at behavior said "yeah survivors have to know deadass every single thing the knight is doing during his power cus why not" yet nobody can watch the dredge travel to a locker, or the demogorgon travel through the upside down to a portal, i mean shit even the damn legion is more unpredictable in their ability than the knight and all he does is run faster and cut people
also its funny that picking up a shitty green flag makes my "loyal guard" up and say i quit in the middle of a job. sorry for the text i just really dont like how they made such a badass looking killer such a naked grandma in game
Coming back to this game since they’ve added custom. It’s really nice to practice and learn a killer vs bots. Surprisingly fun non toxic way to try and learn the mechanics of a character (nurse on console for example). I’ll admit I’ve had easier games vs humans.
Idk why everyone hates on the night. As a console player who only goes up against mainly pc bully squads and gen rushers he’s pretty good. My new favorite killer if I’m being honest. People just can’t play him right.
