THE MIND OF A PYRAMID HEAD | Dead by Daylight

Read more Dead by Daylight ➜ https://deadbydaylight.mgn.gg

Pyramid Head is one of the strongest killers in the game with the right mind, you need to be really looking to shut teams down asap! Looking at juggling two individual survivors then working on the rest. Your quickest set up would be to pick two survivors and hook / cage them in rotation to give time between hook endurance / potential DS etc.

More about Dead By Daylight:

A group of up to four survivors must elude one killer. The survivors’ perspectives are third-person, while the killer’s perspective is first-person. The survivors cannot fight against the killer and can only survive by running away and evading them. They must use obstacles in the form of wooden pallets, windows, and items that they either find inside chests or bring before the match starts to run from the killer for as long as they can. In order to escape, survivors must repair 5 generators scattered across the entire map to power the exit gates, then they must open the exit gates and leave the area themselves or find a hatch to jump into.

  1. Just curious, why do you care if a survivor leaves via the gate vs the hatch because it’ll boost their mmr? She played the game and if she gets the door open, she survived. She didn’t hide all game, she helped her team, why wouldn’t she deserve an mmr boost? That shouldn’t be something for the killer to control.

  2. I gotta say Jay, I just picked up pyramidhead and I find that just leaving trails around the map even if I'm not planning on staying around the area helps. always little bits of the trails in front of doorways and ledges. You said you'd rather her hatch than escape but I feel like you're the best killer to stop an escape. with the chains you can kbow which one she's going to before she starts working on the door.

  3. the issue with the trails is a lot of survs will go to great lengths to avoid the torment status effect. They Hate getting mori'd by it and they hate how cages dont interact with hook related perks. So it is generally better to plan around them doing that and using it as weak area denial. when they screw up an get it it's a bonus.

  4. "I'm just a tunnel machine, and I wont work for nobody but you!" Sorry but I just had to type that due to the thumbnail lol.. Hmm.. Tempted to make a DBD song parody based on this.

As a side note. I prefer hooking them before using the cage on a survivor if I manage to get them cursed. ( If they have not been hooked that is. ) Unless I am in a situation where I do not have the time to actually hook them.. Something that might happen more often if the PTB patch goes to live.

Also I am a huge fan of the Silent Hill games, but due to the last game, and then the PT fiasco that happened.. I am just.. Not sure.. Of course I hope it ends up being a really good game but I am.. Wary of it to say the least.

  5. Good match, but you are doing the DS avoidance in the wrong order. It's get people tourmented, then hook, then cage (cannot BT/DS from cage) and then either execute or hook.

DS is admittedly a lot more rare nowadays.
