  1. You could’ve definitely used the stalk prompt to go through them and cause them to backflip but that doesn’t change that survivors control what emblems the killer gets.

  2. And then you hear people online saying “lol I totally will always deny giving killers their adept”

And people on Reddit give them like a thousand upvotes saying that survivors don’t deserve to give killers anything

But also not playing the game just because it’s lost like these two survivors did is some baby crybaby stuff lol

  3. i'm sorry but i just hate people like this
like you're obviously trying to achieve something, they don't lose anything meaningful from letting you get that, like why fucking do this? it's so obnoxious. i feel like dbd players actually feel fullfilment from being the reason why someone else feels like shit

  4. They made getting adepts waaaaay easier a while back, not sure it was purposeful though. when they buffed how many bp you can get in each category I think there was some sort of hiccup in how the merciless req is met. Probably wrong about that though, mainly guessing

  5. Scott doesn't care not achievements meanwhile I'm a little achievement whore.
I'm two short for Dead By Daylight; Legendary survivor and Outbreak Breakout

10:08 Because the devs are inconsistent. For some reason Stake Out specifically calls out that you don't gain tokens while in chase. I guess because "it's thematic".

If only basement had been in shack.

Thanks for the video content Scott.

    Thanks for the editing Skrump.

  6. Imagine losing to adept Myers on Ormond, not even just being that petty and you still getting the achievement lol.

Also this should be a PSA: if you want adept, do it at the low ranks. The requirements are much lower.
You can get away with two Iris and two Golds/One Silver and Three Iris.

  7. There should never be a situation where a killer picks up a survivor and just can't make a hook, so is forced to bleed them out. It's just forcing the killer and survivor(s) to sit there for four mintues, nobody wants to just wait and do nothing. Sadly, this is mainly because of hook spawns and/or hooks not respawning and BHVR isn't changing it because they fail to realize their map design is terrible.

  8. Survivor Adept requirements: escape

Killer Adept Requirements: get hits within 10 seconds of starting a chase, hold onto every gen for three minutes, run a 5 minute mile, give birth, divide by zero,

  9. Boil over is just another perk to use for counterplay, when people equip boil over do you not except them to try to get utility from there perk? I keep watching dbd videos and I keep getting reminded why this game is so unfun to play

  10. I bet these two survs thought they were heroes or something to stop you from getting your adept. I would have watched them bleed out on the ground if I were you, standing absolutely still.

  11. Quite frankly, while abusing bad design to create unhookable spots is petty and dumb, it's called "bad design" for a reason and BHVR is solely responsible for this kind of strat being possible (and easy in certain map) to pull off.

All they have to do is make hooks respawn after a while, like if they were broken by the Breakdown perk. Killers couldn't chain several downs on the same hook but the Survivors couldn't create no-win/boring scenarios.

I'm actually not sure it's a bannable offense since the game was designed in this way. It would be like saying that the Survivors should let themselves die even though there's a way (a scummy way) to avoid it. It's like facecamping: a few possible solutions against a scummy tactic but nothing done about them.

  12. I just want to remind everyone that Hangman's Trick used to repair hooks after a set amount of time, even ones used to sacrifice survivors.
Was it good? Not outside these niche situations, but it sure felt good if you had it and survivors tried doing something like this against you.

  13. 0:28 If anyone tries to do the Boil Over abuse on Ormond, the best way to counter that is to carry them to the balcony facing the outside and drop them right over the gap so they fall to the ground floor. Had a few people try to abuse the perk by going to the bedrooms so I couldn't hook them. Didn't work once because I just kept dropping them

  14. There’s no way you can get banned for that, it’s a viable strat. Someone gets hooked near one of the corners so the hook gets broke and then you go down there knowing there’s no hooks nearby left, big brain strategy just like the comp corner when there’s no pallets left to loop with, waste time mindgaming with the trees and line of sight, etc.

  15. Honestly? I'm surprised that the last 2 Didn't DC the moment it was obvious the Dwight was getting hooked.

I got denied challenges/achievements by Survivors DCing out of spite so many times.

  16. any other game they would complain and dc for being slugged for two seconds and then these idiots want to be slugged for four minutes. survivor mains are truly a different breed. like the kind you find in Alabama.

  17. Hey! I think I can actually provide some context to this as I was the Tapp this game! Hi!

I was in a 3 man squad with Apple (Dwight) and The Witch King (Zarina). I have a few little things from our perspective that you may or may not be interested in 🙂

    1. We weren't stream sniping, however me and witch king absolutely know who you are! Honestly really happy I've featured in a video, even if I was playing pretty poorly!
    2. We worked out it was adept very late, Dwight really thought you had Monitor because of your terror radius, but that's just Myers things I guess!
    3. Sorry it came off as petty and toxic, when you downed Dwight by the shack the first time, we noticed how few hooks there were over there and thought that maybe it was possible to hold the game, when Dwight went to the rock and you couldn't hook, we properly knew then.
That was also why Dwight ran off afterwards, it was pretty scummy and we don't generally play nastily, but this game was so much fun, we ended up stalking your profile a little just to find out if you got it or not. All of our chat afterwards was asking if you got it and saying gg. Nothing else, I pinky promise!
    4. Good identifying of perks! We have a few little ways of playing. We have me who has Deja Vu so we know what gens to do to make them as spread out as possible. In this game, there was a horrible 3 gen you never saw inside and around shack, luckily we spawned over by shack to break it but if you saw that immediately we were screwed. Also if you look at the end, Zarina runs both Distortion and Saboteur. Distortion allows us to identify which aura reading perks are in game and work around them, but against a mirror myers it's like burning paper. Secondly Saboteur is really good at helping us identify hook spots, scourge hooks and how to maybe get some cheeky sabo plays. For the comments, I'd really recommend people run these in a group as you can pretty much know what's going on and identify the killers build!

I had so much fun this game, it was one of the highlights of my night and I'm glad you didn't seem to get upset at us! Much love to you! If you have any questions, I'll reply 🙂 <3

  18. Scott, if I want to stream Dbd, should I try and make themed streams or just play and do what I usually do? I don’t want my streams to be boring even though I feel like I’m somewhat boring in the streams

  19. I'm of the honest opinion that death hooks shouldn't destroy hooks permanently. It seems like it only encourages this kind of gameplay. Maybe just a temp break like breakdown.

  20. Hey Scott sorry to hear you're still having such a rough time health wise. You're one of my favourite video game based content creators since we have such a similar sense of humour. Happy holidays I hope 2023 is kind to you! (and Jen and the cats!)
