  1. Before you read into the comment I don’t play the game but I do watch from time to time and I know how the game works. Unless you can exploit i-frames not get downed with dead hard don’t use it you get no leap boost you stay stationary and now it’s 10x harder to time. So in conclusion is not worth equipping unless you’re reaction time is good enough to reward you with a “good play”.

  2. 6:08 is a textbook example of when the only perk that could've helped counter the killer is dead hard, and it did. Not only do you need good reaction time, you also need knowledge of the game (know how rusty shackles work to begin with). And the fact you had a 0.5s window of time, on top of an already small reaction time window due to Rusty Shackles, this is just a really good outplay. The thing is the killer is so focused on triggering their trap and getting pressure quickly because she was losing and behind on gens, that she immediately tried to hit you after the trap was triggered, not waiting out DH. The amount of pressure and stress on a killer will always largely determine whether dh will work or not, this has literally always been the case so the perk is not "dead" now. Lol. It's hardly even changed, you just can't cheese distance anymore and I'm literally more than happy with this change cause it's healthier for the game. And that's coming from a survivor main that has used nothing but dh since 2018 lmao.

    On a Side note…
    3:44 literally 11 seconds of W holding and you still can't make a new tile on Shelter Woods VS a 4.4 killer as well… Oh my God, I hate shelter woods for survivor so much.

    Also insane rescue in ending clip lol.

  3. Wow I honestly thought Dead Hard was nerfed but after this video, I would consider that its just reworked and thats it. neither a buff or a nerf. its still very effective if used correctly. running dead hard alongside breakout could help your teammate wiggle out of the killers grip often.
