  1. As someone who Only played "Pallet" Freddy, AND plays on PC with a Controller {Yeah I know…}: I like the Power Changes except the Teleport, but the buttons feel worst to use

~Pallets: I hate how "Setting" a Pallet is the same Buttons{LB + RB} as Rupturing a Pallet; when the Previous version was Click{Hold}. I miss tricking Survivors with Fake pallets as they tried to drop it on me; And I've had 1 Team, so far, constantly predrop my Fake pallets when I was nowhere near them, and run to the next loop when I tried to re-set them in chase…
*Note: They can do that before, but The Add-on to Change the Power to snares gave Aura reveal to the Person who did it
~Teleport: Moving the Icon to the Far Right makes it really hard for me to track when I can use the Power. I don't know why the Teleport meter can't be on the Main icon anymore; That and this might be a Me thing, but the power keeps canceling when I try to use, and I sometimes keep getting some sort of Stutter as I start to use the teleport; making it feel worst to use
~Snares: Fun when they hit, and Fun to make survivors dodge them to close in distance. Don't really have any issues with the new Basekit version of them

  2. Hes still just OKAY, not good not bad just okay, there really isnt much to him, his best kit is that he can teleport around everywhere more efficiently, they really shouldve just made him be able to teleport to all survior objectives like totems akd chests imagine a totem and chest spewing blood?, just any big buff like that would make him more unique.

  3. i said this when they revealed his rework, dream snares are such a boring mechanic as a power why would they keep them. His teleport and pulling people into the dream world are the only cool mechanics he has just scrap everything else and come up with a new power.

  4. about Freddy's new dream pallets, i think survivor should not be able to tell the difference and also it would be interesting if they add an ability to "fake rupture" on a real pallet

  5. I was gonna make the argument that new Freddy is at last better than Clown in the open and support that with math but..
being generous with the Clown bottles in Freddys favor and assuming the surv is in the cloud for one full second plus the two lingering seconds, Freddy is just a tiny bit better. with Clown bottle they lose 1.8 meters, with Freddy snares they lose 1.92 meters over the time affected, disregarding potential yellow bottles as well. Freddy feels worse to play against though since you are affected for longer I guess.

  6. I think you can not remotely say his old and new snares are comparable. Being able to shoot them on the spot means you save tripple the time. No setting them up, no activation time before they work and no slowdown while setting them up. Even though the hinder is a little bit weaker over all it makes him more versatile and dynamic. I think the buff looks good

  7. Kinda agree is not too strong, and that you don't enjoy him is just personal preference.
However you should try different builds. I had a blast with chase build, fire up, brutal, bamboozle, enduring. Endgame build is also very strong, with both endgame addons, remember me, noed, no way out, terminus. Impossible to escape that build, or bloodwarden.

  8. Freddy really needs two major things to become solid in the state he is in right now:

    1. Get rid of the dream pallet visibility. It’s very difficult to get a solid Rupture hit against anyone with half a brain cell (which, to be far, some Survivors lack) and being warned of a Dream Pallet well before you’re within Rupture range doesn’t help. Removing this would encourage Survivors to have map awareness and know which pallets have been used/shouldn’t be where they are while allowing Freddy to punish those who aren’t aware or rely on pallets to do well.

    2. Switch Alarm Clocks back to how they used to be, or significantly increase the downtime of Alarm Clocks once used. Being able to just grab a clock whenever you’re asleep to basically make Freddy useless for a while is dumb and encourages Survivors to just play dumb. They can be hit by Freddy and/or his Dream abilities and be perfectly fine so long as they either break chase or, in some instances, get a certain amount of distance from Freddy and get to a clock.

Both of these changes, and I think Freddy would be a solid mid-to-high B-tier. If the pallet change seems a bit too much, maybe increase the Rupture range to make the Dream Pallets a much greater threat rather than the occasional health state from oblivious players.

  9. he’s pretty okay. his chase is somewhat weak especially around already downed pallets so brutal is a must…

i still feel him tping to healing survivors is pretty weird… would love to see his hinder much better if it means no tping to healing survs bc i’m sure it sucks for newer or uncoordinated survivors

  10. I hate the fact they didnt do something original, they just slapped on some bandaid bs and called it a rework which in my opinion it barely makes it as one. They should have done something with his old kit or something.

  11. Freddy is just another weak m1 killer, they definitely overnerfed his dream snares. He simply sucks at chases and struggles enormously when it comes to securing hooks. My current winrate on him is only 33% and I've yet to get a single 4K on him, he's that awful.

  12. I’ve gotta disagree with you on this- I’m having a blast so far. However, I completely would agree that he needs his own unique chase music, something similar to what the survivors hear. On survivor side the atmosphere is proper Freddy, but hearing the Trapper Chase mix on Freddy is like wtf lol.
