  1. Having seen other people preview Freddy's rework, even before watching the video I'm thinking you'll be able to get value out of the exploding pallets(even if they'll likely get nerfed to have a cooldown because survivors will whine about them, despite the obvious tells and delayed explosion animation). The only downside to Freddy seems to be that his teleport canceling was removed; but that's minor compared to his competitive improvements.

  2. I don't think the Freddy we have now is that bad. Nobody could out-Freddy Robert Englund and I think the 2010 film did a pretty good job at what it was meant to be, a reboot. It's like seeing your friend with his new glasses after seeing him for years without glasses, it's weird to see but he's still your friend. This Freddy isn't the Robert Englund one that we're used to, but it's still Freddy.

  3. I can admit that the fake pallets are more powerful, but they are less fun. I hope he has a brown "joke" add-on that removes their explosive power but makes them look real. The mind games and set up always made you feel like a really smart asshole, which was perfect. The changes to his add-ons + teleports + dream snare seem powerful enough

  4. I like that you can drop the pallet before it explodes, otherwise there is no counterplay for it. You either get injured/downed by the pallet or Freddy injures/downs you. With you being able to drop the pallet, that's a way for survivors to be able to play around it. You need to have somewhat of a chance.

  5. Hi Red, a minor perk change that most people have overlooked but which might be worth experimenting with is the new buffed Beast of Prey. The new version makes you Undetectable for 20 seconds when Bloodlust kicks in, which means you can quickly teleport or sprint away when it kicks in and try to ambush someone you weren’t actively chasing. It could work ok in particular on killers who have the map mobility to take advantage of that 20 second time frame (and whose power in a chase doesn’t prevent Bloodlust from kicking in.)

  6. One small tweak I’d like is they should change the button that swaps between pallets and snares to be the Tab key instead of Ctrl. That would make it more consistent with Clown’s bottle swapping and also prevent accidental teleports or pallet explosions since those two commands currently share that same Ctrl button.

  7. Quick response for those who don’t know, when Wes Craven passed away, his wife took over his estate (making her the rights holder for the original Freddy (Englund)). She hates the character and what it did to her husband so she has been adamant that she will not be giving anyone the license (leaving him (Englund) dormant until she passes away essentially). That’s also why we haven’t had a new reboot movie or tv show or any other kind of media.
