  1. i stopped playing DBD because of the bad side of the community, i got banned from MY XBOX account noy the dbd game itself but it was because i got wins and got reported, i played a somewhat fun/ sweaty playstyle
but when id get wins id get hate. not so in any of my other games
i wish ALL players remember "Its just a game"

  2. You definitely got me with that thumbnail 😂😂Came here all ready to defend SpooknJukes 😂😂Well done. But it's crazy to me how those people trying to shame him for that video not only proved his point but called themselves out in the process. Ironic. You hit the nail on the head and I especially appreciated the clip of the convo you had with him. I know that there are great people in this community because I've met a lot of them through this game, so I know we have the potential as a community to spread positivity and become the heroes of DBD instead.

  3. I been playing this game for +3.5k hrs (with 2.8k hours being on switch, I know its concerning) and was someone who also played the game for fun and never really for an end goal of 4k'ing every round or must escape every round. When I moved over from switch to ps5 I saw both the good and the bad that the community can, rather its them saying it was a hilarious match from me doing backpack build, to someone cursing me out and swearing death appond me for deciding to running noed because I like chasing players over protecting gens. Shit talking is fine as long as its only within the game and nothing thats beyond that point. I feel like people play this game as tho its a job that they must compete in to get into comp rather than it being just a game, which is why many would somehow complain even if they won. Great video man. 🙂

(also yea the thumbnail got me there lol)

  4. I was about to say! Both you and jukes are like the best basement camper bubbas out there! How could you hate on this man??

All seriousness, this was a really well put together video. Personally, I think dbd was at its best when things were unbalanced. Arguing over what perks and playstyles need to be nerfed is total bogus. The more variety you offer a player, the better. Makes the game stale when everything plays out the same way. I hope BHVR will focus more on expanding playstyles, gamemodes, and perks in the future rather than playing it safe inside of their box they've filled up. DBD still has so much potential for experimental things, and I personally support and love when they experiment, even with mixed results. Just makes the game more enjoyable.

  5. Glad I came across this, definitely was thinking it would be a little different, but the message is something that is worth getting around, I do hope people can reflect and try to bring more positivity to the community, everyone has had their share of bad experiences, but it’s not worth trying to make it worse for anyone else, I’d love to see the opinion on the community turn to something better, rather than toxic and bitter being the front that everyone else outside/in the community sees first

  6. He likes to call people out on their bad bhvr but makes sure to bait a bad response all the time by making the games he is in killer totally unfun (for the content of course),,,Salt mining channels are so BS

  7. I kept an open mind when I saw the title and thumbnail. And I agree with you that the real villain is in fact the DbD community. It's hard enough for a newbie to get into the game and learn the ropes. The fact that BHVR expects the same newbies to pay additionally for chapters and other hardcore monetization they are continuing and have been implementing along with dealing with the large chunk of the player base that should have put the game down but can't is difficult. SpookNJukes is one of the beacons of light in a community that has gone far off the deep end.

  8. The community is weird. The only time when it is justifiable to be upset is when you deal with a cheater/hacker because they are actually ruining the game for people. Someone running Meta perks is always going to happen, a perk is also always likely to annoy you when playing against it, a particular killer you may not have fun against, etc … those things happen and are guarantee to happen. Given the number of killers and perks in the game, it is unlikely that everyone likes every thing in the game.

  9. I’ll admit I’m a streamer in this game who is currently getting a ton of crap in this game atm including some boarderline stalking and disability shaming. I have tried to be nothing be kind and friendly to others even though I main killer. I’ve noticed from this my behaviour to others had changed 🙁 I just feel like why be fair and friendly if others won’t be like that to me (shrug)

  10. unfortunately this community has started to affect me as well. i try to normally be positive, im trying to be a horror creator, but this community is contagious in a way. too much time with them can cause your own mindset to get worse. ive gone from smiling and welcoming people with the happiest voice i can muster, to going on full mute and cursing under my breath. all because of the expectations ive been (i cant remember the actual psychology term, but it's a well known experiment with bells and dogs) pavlov'd into thinking. i've decided to take a look into indie horror games and start making videos on those, it even allows me to work on my voice acting, but i love dead by daylight, it's my favorite child in my library, it sucks that this community is just so bad.

  11. The reason most survivors get upset is because these are the kinds of killers who use extremely strong and abusable addon's and perks and only get a 4k 90% of the time, then cry to developers about nerfing Made For This while buffing their already strong and abusable addon's and perks to compensate for lack of skill all the while shouting at survivors that they are entitled. Survivors adapt while killers wait for the next patch.
