Wesker killswitch over?
I've always gone for hooks, I find the chases more fun than the "win". I do tend to "lose" more often but it's how I enjoy the game. The fun factor of the killer is the abilities and how well I can use them, not how effectively I can tunnel or camp for a kill. So far my record is 1 hook, 5 gens in a massive 4minute 48second game.
Man is speaking facts
I don’t get a chance to watch the streams but can someone elaborate on why he wants to see hooks per gens done throughout the game? My assumption would be that as the game starts the map is full of unbroken pallets and u can only chase one person of the 4 so naturally u would get less hooks during the early stages of the game. As dead zones are created and survivors start to die off u start to gain momentum and get more hooks. I feel like most killers would follow this as it is the natural flow of the game. Is he looking to see if a killer is weak even late in the game when they should be more favored or perhaps killers that are getting more early hooks than other killers?
I’m getting to the point where I say don’t even have survivors die on hook. Instead, make it so the killer has to get 12 hooks. Once he gets 12 hooks, the end game collapse immediately happens and all survivors are sacrificed.
I'll give an example. I joined the game around Clown release. For me as newbie Ruin was a beast, I couldn't hit the skillchecks and it literally stopped from doing gens and forced to look for it. In time I started to learn skill checks and it became manageable, but still quite effective. Watching Tru3 hitting all the skillchecks I realized how really weak, almost meaningless, Ruin was against experienced players. It was only effective against weak players. And there was SO MUCH cries on forums about Ruin, so many demands to remove it. It happened because the majority of players are weak players, who can't hit the skillchecks, lowskill or just casuals. And since it's 4v1, its roughly 80% of playerbase, demanding it. And devs did it. They butchered Ruin. Then other gen regression. Killer powers and addons…
Over time they kept doing that, destroying anything that gave killers any power to please fragile newbies. And thus they overpowered survivors, up to a stupid degree. But thing is – there are also good players, good survivors which you'll eventually encounter if you're playing good. People who know all the best skills, playing in teams with voice. And they simply break the game, creating un-winnable situations. And best part – devs will never see that. Because devs themselves are casuals, unable to rise above the crying crowd they used to please so hard. And so the cycle will continue. More cries – more nerfs for killers and buffs for survivors. Game gonna die. Inevitable.
Thank you for this Wesker video, I've been losing my mind not being able to play him these last couple of days!
The devs won the lottery, but rather than use the money to invest and make smart decisions with, all they have done is buy more lottrery tickets and throw it all away.
The only thing that makes sense is the Devs only care about money. As long as players continue buying chapters, nothing will change. Zero F's given if players are having fun.
