  1. I hate how long it takes for the expose to activate but it also should be long enough to get from one side to the other without getting exposed. That way there aren’t choke points in maps that cause a guaranteed expose.

  2. I dunno. I feel she is not good perse, but we will have in a few weeks one dedicated crackhead that unlocks her potential like with sadoko.

I can see her being strong but its so much work as far as it seems. Need some tweaking tho

  3. Straight garbage, in all aspects, its the left over parts bin thrown together into a killer. Ditch the mask, the cyborg arm and stick with the drones, make the drones actually track during chase instead of being stationary pieces of crap. Her lore is such a mess, it seems like the team that made this has never attempted horror.

  4. Honestly I'm like this new killer because they are the first killer that has a power that is purely for tracking survivors. But I feel like she does need some improvements in order to be better. I think making it so the claw trap will indefinitely reveal your location through the radar until removed despite the battery being gone and giving the survivors oblivious the entire time as well. Make the drones shield active the entire time it is in the active mode so the survivors can't just bum rush the drones and take them out without having to wait out for the scanner mode. They should also make it so the undetectable is instant when entering the zone and lingers for a longer duration to utilize the ability. Then finally the exposed timer shouldn't decrease when inside the zone to further prompt the survivors to leave the area. I'm completely fine with the killer being completely trash as long as they don't change much of the tracking abilities.

  5. Lets hope for a banger at the anniversary, this chapter sucks and the boredom will continue if not get worse due to this killer. Oh and also do not buy this garbage.

  6. Personally, I think if they made it so that 1. The lock-on progress you get when getting scanned worked like Ghostface's power, where it doesn't go down automatically and you only lose it when you get hit or successfully hacked a drone & 2. The battery that sticks to a survivor lasted longer, at least 45 seconds perhaps. The drones as of right now are horrible against decent people and even though her power is pretty much information based it gives you so little information in exchange for no chase power

  7. I'm honestly hoping she either gets the Wesker treatment and becomes great (which I doubt) or gets the Freddy treatment (which I'd prefer because her power is so bad).

  8. I know this is probably meaningless since most players will just 3 gen lock down with her but, I did find someone who is utilizing The Skull Merchant quite well without doing 3 gen lockdowns, I would recommend Bazazell on YouTube, he's done a great job so far with showcasing her in a better way than anyone I have seen so far.

  9. I don't understand why people compare her to Knight. I guess both can use their power in a loop and survivors can completly negate it by leaving the loop, but the similarities end here.
I prefer to call her : "Ghostface with extra steps". Both can be undetectable and both can expose, neither have any chase power.
It's just much harder to get value out of your power as Skull Merchant : "Cool I'm undetectable as long as I don't leave this very obvious zone that everyone can see from a mile away." or "Nice I exposed someone for 20 seconds, hopefully he won't have access to any pallet or window and I might down him."

The flip side is that she have more detection, too bad it will almost always be on survivors that you are already knew were there (inside an active drone), or survivors that are far away (disabling a drone)
The worse part is that her perks don't even redeem her.
Meanwhile survivors get double sprint burst and silent vault back, everything is fine…

  10. Aside from the killer being terrible as a whole I can't help but wonder where the turning point for this game was, when it went from having the time to get into multiple chases, hook multiple survivors multiple times, and have everyone experience the game to.. just do a 3 gen, hook at your 3 gen, tunnel around your 3 gen.

  11. Honestly, if they knew you were doing a gen kick build, Blast Mine is not the best counter. Potential Energy is. It takes 30 seconds to charge up 20 seconds of progress, but the benefit of the progress you hold is that it can't be regressed. AFAIK, missing a skill check causes the gen to lose progress, not your PE charges. Pain Res, Eruption, Jolt, or any other regression perks don't cause you to lose PE stacks. If all 4 players ran PE and built up charges outside of the 3 gen, they could plug 80/90 seconds worth of progress into a gen at the same time, after only about 5 seconds of work beforehand, to complete the gen instantly. Not sure how a 4 man team can't come up with that but I can.

  12. I think that it’s really really really important to note that three gens are unfun not because of the power but because of the perk meta; Any killer can hold a nasty 3 gen if they wanted to and I don’t think that’s fair to blame a flaw in core game mechanics on a new killer’s power

i have a lot of nights where i actually cant sleep. Like right now for example. I can just watch dbd "skull merchant" gameplay now and its like taking sleep pills, but not as unhealthy.

  15. Since most killers camp now from hook 1, it won't really matter who or what they add as a new killer anyway. Why they won't address the camping plague is beyond me. The Preda-nator-rix, is pretty bland so far.

  16. Okay hear me out. Some creepy ass lenky dude that looks like he was born in a cave, who goes undetectable Mr. Sneaky mode when he clings to walls on buildings, shacks, loops, etc. Then he leaps on you and gives you a heart attack. Thoughts?
