  1. Billy in this state is perfect because of a couple of things:
    1. Billy is hard to learn. Not everyone can just pick up billy like they can with chucky
    2. There are so many killers that are leagues better than new billy base kit
    3. The devs have finally made something fun and interesting (overdrive) that could open doors for reworks on killers. Imagine other killers who get some super power if they kept using their power

  2. when i saw the movement speed changes i actually gasped, we knew overdrive was coming but the extra buffs they gave him *may have overtuned him just a tiny bit*, but i dont freaking care i love being chased by billys i cannot wait im so excited

  3. I'm definitely worried about these addons and his changes from a balance perspective but I also just love seeing people play billy and going against him so I don't mind rn. That opinion will probably change in the future but DBD is also a different game than it was back then. I think the average power level of the top tier killers is higher than it was before. So this billy might not be as broken feeling as it used to be. He probably won't even be in the top 5 strongest killers nowadays even if he was as strong as he used to be. Another thing is that the new overdrive makes him even harder to learn when he's already the most difficult killer in the game

  4. if it does prove to be too strong id say just rework greased throttle and may bring back Thompson's Moonshine just with a new effect since spiked boots was Thompson's Moonshine i just dont know what the new effect could be

  5. I remember when dbd had that dark lighting and ambience, loading into the map only to hear the relentless charge of what you already knew was a god tier crack billy. What a time to be alive

  6. The cd needs to be bumped up or the recovery speed needs to be lengthened with less mobility. Because of fairness…you know…instead of “this was bad for years so now it deserves to be overturned because of reparations style stuffs lol”.

  7. Another thing to note is that Hillbilly has now become the only Killer who, barring some special circumstances on the survivors' end, can always threaten an insta down at a hooked survivor with just his basekit. With the removal of his Overheat mechanic, there's no downside to just keeping your chainsaw revved at an occupied hook.

Myers will eventually run out of his power (and he needs add ons to circumvent this)
Bubba will go into a Tantrum if he keeps revving without attacking, at which point there's a cooldown/wind up for survivors to attempt an unhook
Any other killer require add ons or certain conditions to be met

Hillbilly doesn't need any perks or add ons to do this. The survivors just have to hope he misses, is occupied with something else, or have Mettle of Man charged, otherwise there's nothing they can do to prevent a down.

Of course, this can only happen in Endgame.
