  1. In this showcase, we used the same ruleset that would apply to Killers such as Doctor, and the Unknown generally got very respectable results. With a bit of dedication, I genuinely think this Killer will be at least B-tier or even possibly low A-tier. But who knows, maybe he'll get some tweaks when he comes to live servers that will change everything!

  2. I dont like how The Unknown can see us, and talk to us before the start of the trials. It even seems that The Unknown is trying to fight The Entity's will to just get them while they are defenseless

Stuff like this is stuff where this killer excels, and where I think a lot of his strength comes from. His ability to control groups of survivors and spread pain is almost unmatched. Most of the matches I won against very experienced survivors as this bastard were because I basically won two chases at once; one with his power and one as an M1. It's brutal.

  4. I told you that The Unknown is a potential S-tier in your stream and you were skeptical, saying it was "likely high B-tier". He makes loops useless if you are very skilled with him while also having amazing map navigation with his teleportations. And that's just scratching the surface of his potential.

  5. Excited to see how survivors adapt over the next couple months and see where he really falls in the tier list. im loving him so much and i dont think hes crazy over powered. Hes so much fun to play against and to play as. I hope they don't change too much.

  6. Maybe i suck (only tried him 3 times) but i was getting stomped 🤣 i do not like it like every survivor i faced knew to hug walls or dodge really good i got some decent shots but i feel like he requires a lot ima have to keep playing the killer on release to see as of now he is meh to me

  7. My biggest critique of the new killer The Unknown? It's definitely the lazy break pallet animation. He has a really cool ax. It would be awesome to see him kick the pallet once, then slash it in half with the ax. Similar to the wall break animation. Thank you Otz for always being so awesome! <3

  8. It would be very cool and lore accurate if every survivor sees the unknown in a different form based on something they fear, then when they get weakened, the true form reveals for them

  9. 10:08 There is NO WAY a top comp player in my region doesn't know they can bind action and interaction separately on their controller, I refuse to believe it.

BTW, for all the console players out there who didn't know (and in my experience playing with randoms a majority of us don't), YOU CAN BIND THEM SEPARATELY! YOU DON'T NEED TO ACCIDENTLY DROP A PALLET ON THE TEAMMATE YOU'RE TRYING TO HEAL. I've lost so many survivor games to this, it's crazy. ALSO BTW, I found it fairly comfortable to swap interaction (which is the one for healing, action is the pallet drop. I wasn't sure which was which until I changed my bindings) to LT/L2, and moved crouch from that spot to X/Square. I honestly just wanted to make this comment as a PSA.

Please stop dropping pallets on my head. Please.

  10. I think the killer should have an wind up animation play with sounds playing before he insta tps.

This means that if a survivor is loopin him, they can see/hear him about to TP and react accordingly. Though I never played against or as the killer so idk

  11. this whole "comp" thing is getting really old , really quick… let the killer release at least before you start these cringe matches, noone cares for these efforts to convince playerbase some stuff are broken and/or fine, because they work/dont on a comp level
