Ok Holy hell I should have known this was coming… guys the perkless trapper thing was NOT reference to the dumbass drama that recently popped up, I recorded this video nearly two weeks ago. JFC I am not on either persons side in that stupid drama. I will be removing any references to it because I honestly do not want that shit in my comments section. I don’t understand why survivors are never happy either. I am a killer main but I switch to survivor quite often when i get burnt out or have a tome or something and I’m chilling and never really find myself that angry.
This is why playing on Xbox is so fun tho, cos there's no easy way to trash talk. They have to
a) navigate themselves to your actual account
b) use the horrendous Xbox Controller Keyboard Interface yo actually type out their message
Trash talk stops being frustrating and starts being incredibly funny when you imagine them fiddling with this joystick through tears of rage to type out a paragraph of why what you did was toxic or unacceptable
I play both Survivor and Killer, I have seen this too often. I try not to be like that regardless which side I am on. Entitled Survivors seem to forget that without the Killers, there is no Dead By Daylight.

I've been a survivor main since I started playing the game back in July 2023 (I actually began playing in 2021 but it was for a short period before i stopped). I have been just like all of these survivors for some time until I began playing some killer games and it opened my eyes to what killers experience on a daily basis. I'm now playing way more killer games nowadays (still playing alot of survivor) and in my opinion survivors are the most toxic people in the game (there are toxic killers as well I'm aware of that) but there are so many freaking funny and friendly killers in the game that makes the game fun.
Yesterday I got flamed and reported for body blocking as a killer survivors really are the most entitled whiny little bitches
This is why I enjoy tunneling and slugging even at 5 gens
I have a story
Was playing nemesis, full hex build and someone complained how i tunneled the guy who just got unhooked and immediately went for a hex totem next to that very same hook,
Dude was complaining how i tunneled and i told him that i was punishing that guys misstake, if you think you can do a hex totem right after an unhook, you better expect to be punished for being that dumb, i already had 3 hex totems cleased so if i lost that one too i be perkless, got 4 man kill with 4 gens left, and that survivor said i should've slugged and not tunnelled and i told him that survivor should've left the area instead of cleasing right off hook.
Got to punish misstakes, tell my friends that too when they play survivor, if you don't leave the area to heal somewhere else, the killers gonna hear you and down you again, unless you got we'll make it don't heal under hook, don't be agro on gens if you're on death hook, do gens when killer is not on the area or chasing someone else, etc
I get stuck in this loop of, ''Oh, I want to play another killer, I'm gonna switch things up and play the trapper or something!'' and then the survivors do all 5 gens in 2 minutes and then tbag me at every possible opportunity while using perks like the one that saves you when you pick up someone or dead hard while simultaneously using flashlights and spamming noise notifications and tbagging at the exit gate… and then I go back to playing overpowered killers like the blight and then I log off because it's boring to get 4Ks every match
And if survivors lose it’s always on them, the killer didn’t outplay them in any whatsoever way, the survivors made a bad play one single time and the killer took advantage.

It's an "us vs them" mentality where the sides are not even. This just leads to people have a one-sided view of the game. Survivor also puts you on a team, further the "us vs them" as you are put into a mini-echo chamber where you just hear what other survivor players say
I once had a survivor severely dress me down in end game chat because I lost while running ruin as Huntress with a few other perks to help with chase. This was back when the Ruin rework first came out, it was my first game with the rework, and this dude just, spammed chat with paragraphs on why I should just uninstall the game. Like, I couldn't even get a word in, and I stayed through the whole thing just to see how long he would go on before the chat disconnected.
So yeah, survivors are miserable, and do anything in their power to make everyone miserable as well.
It is annoying that people complain when killers go for the 4k but when all gens are done and a killer hooks a survivor they all rush to get him off the hook
Killer is way easier to play and less stressful. Play survivor for 8 hours escape three times while also dealing with survivors giving up, DC's, killers slugging and never hooking, and BMing on the ground. I play killer for 8 hours I get a 3k or 4k every match. And that one match here and there where I don't win. Survivors BM? Don't worry you'll be dead by end game anyways. So go ahead and teabag bro. Not saying that some killers are less difficult than others but as a whole you play killer to win and survivor if you're a masochist. And I have 4k hours in the game and play both sides.

I'm not gonna lie, I instantly didn't like how venca worked while I played survivor, but I know I'm like that with any new killer so I always have to give them a chance. And I found a few counters on my own. Some probably have better ways, but I still found counters and I'm cool with that
I kinda just learned to give up following the survivor rule book thing. I used to only not tunnel but y'know.. survivors cry about everything and now I just tunnel if I feel the need to. It's not longer I need pressure, it's if I have pressure, I'm keeping the pressure any way I can

i honestly prefer the combo (weave and franklins) over the sweaty or very boring matches i get on a daily basis
its a nice alternative that isnt too strong but also not too weak
and after the ptb patch. im able to use deadline and autodiactat or borrowed time and babysitter instead of meta trash

Yeah man, been playing since 2017 on xbox. In the beginning I was mass reported so much that I would be placed in the toxic only players section of the Xbox reputation system. Thankfully they stopped that nonsense because it would take forever to find games. Survivors bitched and complained then and nothings changed in 8 years
I don’t know why people are complaining about the vac to perk, Franklin combo if that ever catches on, and every killer starts running that a lot I have an answer for that it is called distortion I could also probably run off the record there’s like an answer for it, so I’m not like too upset about it really I mean, it would suck if I feel like I had to run to perk but I would do it I also like it when a killer tells me because they better be good I also run decisive i’m a Survivor mode I mostly play Survivor, but sometimes I wanna play killer and I also capture the endgame especially if I had a really bad game do you only thing I would love to Dave’s to do is figure out a way to punish the killers that will slug me, and then stand near me and knocked me down when people try to get me up until I bleed out but I don’t know what they could do
I main nightmare, I have since 2017 and I used to and still sometimes run perkless nightmare with his meme brown addon and people will complain about it and get mad at how i played, onetime i was playing nightmare and i walk up to a survivor on a nearly done gen he pops a styptic tanks a hit tries to fi ish the gen while my animation is playing fails to i hit him again jolt activates he gets mad i run jolt, an ash comes running behind me injured to finish the gen while im picking the first guy up i hook the first guy the ash is for the peopled so infront of ,y face so i whack him down and go for the nea who is broken and during all that the 4th injured survivor rushes in too and also quickly gets knocked down, when went in their twitch chat they yelled at me for slugging them when THEY put me in a situation where i could knock them down in all under 45 seconds.
You just can’t please everyone. The sooner people realize it, the happier they will be in the long run. Use what you wanna use, yall! Play how you wanna play. Play for yourself and yourself alone.
