I always say in horror games that are multiplayer there should never be MMR. You hop on a horror game to have fun, get scared, feel powerful as the killer, and etc. Just don't throw in SBMM and the games are fine.
Love u Tru, keep the great work!
There's vanilla
Mechanic
And contact
Dead by daylight game play
I prefer mechanic , Because I love to Mori
At 0:49 did she just drop the item while running ?
It says a lot about DBD when survivors have to be potatoes to balance the game
swf is imbalanced with or without mmr. Why should players get punished because they’re winning a couple games? Whether you are low or high ranked, we need to Nerf swf. But no behavior wants to buff solo in order to be as capable as swf. That’s why they gave survivors the new hud, constant buffs to perks that will never be used compared to killer perks getting nerfed, forcing us into the gen kicking meta u see today. And soon those will be nerfed as well. Why not buff both survivor and killer perks as well as nerf both sides instead of entirely buff 1 side and nerf the other? Clearly they have favorites. And before you say they buffed skull merchant and knight. They’re new killers. And they’ve been performing terribly in ptb so ofc they’ll get buffs. It would be too stupid to nerf an already bad killer.
10:21 Zzzzzzzzzzzzzz
IT’s balanced when he easily wins
It’s unbalanced when he gets clapped on
shout out Kermit the frog and thanos
The main reason why the game FEELS close is because of the amount of hooks you have. I believe you had one person dead when you were at 5 or 6 hooks, so that would still give survivors plenty of time to be able to do their objective with their three members while ones in chase until the numbers dwindle to zero, or their objective gets done. This game was an 11 hook game (tho Quentin DC’d), so I think that’s why the game felt really close because the gen to kill ratio wasn’t really balanced until you got the death hooks out of the way.
Hey Tru3! Nice video! Guys, what other perks would you use to combine with the combo: "Monitor and Abuse + Jolt"?
Tru3 talent is the only dbd player I have seen who is still in touch with the struggles of the average player.
Even YouTubers like Scott jund seem way out of touch in this aspect even if they are one of the more less biased players.
And Otzdarva does ridiculous hard challenges that a large majority of players are incapable of doing and players of this game get a misconception killer is that easy.
Im not saying Otzdarva is out of touch with the average killer struggle cause he’s perfectly aware but everyone who watches his videos is so unaware it’s not even funny.
I had an Otzdarva fan advocating the game is killer sided when he hasn’t even played a single game survivor or killer.
These are the viewers that think the game is killer sided just cause players like Otzdarva exist.
A mix of good AND bad survivors in a match is exactly how the game should be. It's just like the slasher films where you'll have one or two dopes get killed off easily, and then the tried and true badasses have the best chance of escaping.
Now take that movie scenario, and make all the people top elite survivors. You got a lame ass movie.
DBDs the same way. Plus it'll make the matches less predictable, more fun, and way more varied.
Survivor side of the game is boring most of the time. Bhvr doesnt want to stretch out the gen times because its a boring obj. Survivors need other means of escaping, and other objectives around that. Maybe the person who manages to run the killer a certain amount of time gets the entity’s favor and they have a portal open to them to escape early. The guy who has the most hook rescues and heals gets a bonus health state or haste from the entity maybe, or another hook stage idk. Maybe a digging objective to find an item to stun the killer? More meaningful items, maybe a baseball bat, you hit the killer in the shin to slow him for 5 seconds? There are endless possibilities man. Bhvr just need to step the game up.
Pretty much everything this guy says, he is right.
Dbd should be about having fun and not having to sweat ur bloody rear off just for a win or for rank stuff.
As survivor, you don't need to be good in chase to be good at this game, all you need to do is be on gens constantly. Bit of an exaggeration but I've seen/played numerous games where the survivors all go down in under 45 seconds, but the gens still finish in 5-6 minutes because they were efficient.
Teams of good AND bad survivors is perfect. You have some decent loopers but not every person knows exactly what mindgame you do before you make it. Varying skill levels makes this game balanced in all its chaos. MMR ruined this game, high mmr games are just 4 really competent players that take ages to catch unless you're Nurse. And for a lot of the killer options it's not a skill issue.
These types of matches are a lot more enjoyable to watch when they are balanced like this.
MMR is pvp games is something desirable as it makes close matches where you're not doomed to lose from the loading screen. Bad MMR system however makes it all meaningless or i'd argue worse as its existence makes you believe that things are balanced even if they are not even close so ppl make up excuses to support that belief a game is balanced. If dbd works best when the survivor team is made up half bad half good players that just screams imbalance and bad MMR. ppl with different skill levels should never be matched with each other that's what mmr is for and a game's balance is what makes sure that both lobby with all trash players and lobby with all god players has fun matches where you have equal chance to lose or win.
Dbd is deeply imbalanced, killer's floor is far higher than survivors so if all players in a match are trash, killer wins most of the time unless it's a trash nurse then survivor win as you have to be able to land blinks to do anything as she is slower than survivor running without use of power. On the other hand if all players are god like, survivors win most of the time unless it's god nurse that ignores most of the game's mechanics, then it's 50/50.
Balancing DBD is abysmal as the primary objective of survivors is pure garbage – sitting in place holding a button. Gen speed is the primary thing to use to balance the game but increasing the gen speed amplifies how garbage the objective is. DBD is going to need a new gamemode with a more interesting objective than sitting in place holding a button, but you have to keep in mind that would have a cascade effect as so many perks are oriented around that garbage objective.
1:28 Excellent teaching opportunity to figure out if you are going against casual survivors or top tier. This Quentin boy didn't look behind him and didn't even remotely try to juke the dash. Now not all survivors in the match will be this way but that gives you a target to prioritize.
2 gens is not a close game
Yes Tru3 you are wrong.
You are always wrong. You just mad that you can't win all the time.
Your only ta1ent is playing videogames kid, you are irrelevant.
Keep crying about swf please, your tears produce more salt than the ocean itself and I need it to eat my fries 🍟.
Have a great day with zero counterplay McChicken.
They need a tag team style 2 man killer setup. Like twins but 2 player so only one can be active at once. Would be unique as hell, definitely no more balanced than the game currently is but they can't achieve that anyways so might as well make new and unique shit
