  1. That Shred upstairs thing is actually fascinating.
If what I'm theorizing is true, by using Shred upstairs, you're covering something like 40% more distance than you should.
From my limited experience scripting stuff in Unity, this suggests that the way Shred works is it moves you an unconditional, set lateral distance.
Which is to say, there is no check for ramps or stairs, that would adjust the distance of shred in accordance with hypotenuse being longer than just moving straight forwards.
You know the length of hypotenuse is longer than the length bc stairs are right triangles, a² + b² = c², but if Shred doesn't care and just moves you the length of "a"?
I hate math and trig, but I know the ratios of the sides for right triangles are prolly something you can easily work out.
If it's a 45 degree angle staircase, the ratio of lenths of the sides and the hypotenuse is 1 : √2, which means the hypotenuse is 1.4 or so.
Could be huge, I'll have to test Shredding on stairs now.

  2. Just wanted to say Scott that I had a dream that I was back in high school taking a pretty simple algebra test with all my friends but you were there taking it with us for some reason. I think my brains idea was that it was dbd math like adding heal speeds together but that makes zero sense.

  3. I kind of like the idea of having exclusive/limited killers as long as everyone has a CHANCE to get the killer/survivor at some point within good reason, before it goes away. The whole idea of people hating "FOMO" is kind of dumb to me. It's not the company's obligation to make sure you don't feel like you missed something; as a collector, I love having things that not everyone will, and if I miss something oh well, I'll gawk at it and envy someone else's lol.
