  1. 4:16 I won't make any comment about running Pop and Ruin together. I did it before Undying was a thing and I'm doing it now that Undying is trash that's not worth running. It's a simple plan A/plan B type of deal and works well in regards to Ruin's fragility, why should anyone with literally any knowledge of DbD's meta and/or half a brain judge you for that? What I will comment about though is… why are you running Ruin and Corrupt together? You yourself said in your gameplay reviews (like the one with Doc on Hawkins) that Ruin and Corrupt is not a good combo for very obvious reasons – so why are you running it now? I always find it funny when I geet killers at survivor red ranks running that combo because thanks to Corrupt I literally got sh*t to do at the start of the match so I'll either evade the killer and start working on an uncorrupted gen or carefully roam the map if I can't pinpoint where the killer is. The chance of me or one of my teammates finding Ruin, Devour or whatever Hex the killer's using by accident when I would not have cared because I'd probably be working on a gen if not for Corrupt is very high, it happens pretty much every other game (if the killer uses both perks) honestly. I don't understand why people do this, never have and probably never will.

Anyway, I'm happy you're back though. Hope you're feeling better! All the best for you!

  2. I tested this add-on pretty extensively, and I can explain how it works. If you’re right next to the survivor, your first knife does 50% laceration (that’s 50% of 800% total laceration needed for an injure), and each subsequent knife that you hit adds 50% more damage, giving you a damage stack. If you hit 4 knives in a row, you’ll reach max stacks and your knives will do 200% damage at point-blank. The first 4 knives (if you don’t miss) will do a total of 500% damage (50+100+150+200), so you’ll basically have hit them with the equivalent of 5 knives. Every knife after reaching max stacks (4) will do 200% damage as long as you don’t miss, which means that survivors will be injured after 4 knives instead of 8, halving the amount of knives you need to kill someone. That’s how the damage stacks work.

The distance modifier is stupid and pointless. The damage does not scale linearly over range at all, like you’d assume. Your knives do half damage until you get ~16 meters away, after which they will do 100%. I don’t know if it scales further than that, but hitting a knife from further away than that is kinda absurd, anyway. Hell, hitting them consistently from 16 meters away is already absurd. This damage modifier stacks with the other stacks, so it adds 100% to each knife. If you have max stacks and are at max distance, your knives will do 300% damage. But that’s never gonna happen in an actual game, because to get value out of the add-on you want to be as close as possible in order to reduce the possibility of missing as much as possible. The add-on punishes you for going for long-range shots while encouraging you to do so. Its design is completely contradictory. Theoretically, if you hit every single knife, you’d down the first survivor after 10 knives, and every subsequent survivor with only 8, as opposed to the 16 you would need without the add-on, or the 14 you would need with the USB. So if you’re literally a robot with perfect accuracy, it’s theoretically twice as good as normal Trickster. **THEORETICALLY**. I’ve actually had some decent success with this add-on, and I could upload a good game with it, if someone would want to see that. I don’t have any recorded, but I could play some for it.

  3. I think is a good addon but like you say, if you hit most of your knives in a row, idk i tried it with the one that reduces laceration needed and it feels like you down them faster, specially in small loops. You just have to play normally but you need good tracking aim. Maybe its me and the addon just sucks and i have been playing too much trickster to notice the difference hahah

  4. Honestly this addon would be much better if it was something like this:
    •18m hits do double damage
    •4m hits do half damage
•Main event knives do normal damage.

  5. Honestly I don’t think this is bad for really good tricksters but until people start mastering him this won’t be great. Imo this has great potential but Isn’t normally good

  6. If it was “Missing two blades in a row resets the values to their initial state” then this add on would be a beast. Say you miss one, the values do not reset, but if you miss twice, then you gotta build up again

  7. The effect of Death Throes Compilation is not actually based on proximity, only how many blades you hit in a row. Each consecutive blade increases the laceration by 50 percent.
