  4. Grim Embrace is so so close to being a great perk. I just have too many issues with it: If you can't find your final stack you just can't trigger the perk, if you do trigger it sometimes the final person you end up hooking is the obession so the aura reading is useless, if the obession has distortion you just don't get any aura reading, if someone dc's because they don't like you no Grim Embrace for you. There are just too many holes in the perk but I really really want to like it. Maybe if it was "4 non-repeating hooks" instead of "unquie hooks" that way you could trigger it if someone was hiding all game but you also just can't tunnel someone out at 5 gens cause you hooked them 3 times giving you 3/4 tokens.

Watching made me question why Grim Embrace can’t activate twice: survivors complain about tunneling so I think having perks like GE that require unique hooks that can get value before endgame would incentivize not tunneling. I don’t think tunneling is a bad way to play, since it’s logical and can be countered by perks and teammates. You’d see more diverse build like the one in this video in high ranks if you could make getting more hooks viable, I think.

  14. I came up with a similar build that’s even more fun a bit ago… Rancor, NOED, Dying Light, NWO/Devour Hope

    Edit: Tombstone Piece can of course help you quickly get someone out before endgame lol… make sure you don’t use your tombstone kill on the obsession because you can kill them during endgame!
