  1. MMR is so inconsistent that I can barely understand its goal. Some games feel like I'm playing four-man SWFs, others, the survivors won't look behind them at loops. Then, almost every game has two Tinkerers before Corrupt ends and 20 pre-dropped pallets.

  2. Sadly, it seems like the higher the mmr gets, the staler the games get. Survivors don't take risks or experiment with with their gameplay, they predrop pallets because they know that unless it's a nurse, spirit, or blight, the distance they gain from wasting every pallet is enough to win if their team just sits on gens.

  3. Mmr proves that for some survivors they don’t need to loop the killer they can just pre-drop pallets, and run. The gen jockeys are out in full force.

  4. i tend to stay on 10-20 rank just because of how sweaty the purple and red ranks were, i just love giving everyone a good play of bloodpoints farming and letting someone escape

  5. i cant play killer like this. Before MMR i already was facing way too many 'good' survivors then i'd like, and having really frusterating games in redrank. But my first two games with MMR on was me getting bullied with spirit, then me playing myres, getting 3 downs in 60 seconds, and still having 2 gens popped before 2 min into the game. then 2 people got out cus of a 4% coby and bad hook RNG. absolutely unplayable.

  6. Wish BHVR would- yeah, they never even watch videos of DbD, let alone play the fucking game. Seriously, what's up with the 2x chance for Gideon Meat Plant?

  7. Yeah this is most of my games for the last year. Ive never understood why people run CI because ive always lost 2 gens regardless if i run it or not. The only exception is late night. Not sure what the deal is but the survivors late night suck

  8. My matches have been a nightmare since MMR, swf sitting on gens, strong looping or weak the gens pop so quickly, changed my usual build on pig to make some pression on gens but not :'( I'm playing wraith since

  9. The games are either almost impossible to win or the easiest games I've ever played, and both seem like the literal opposite of what MMR is usually trying to achieve. Still have no idea why BHVR are trying to pursue this if they are so incompetent on implanting it

  10. I don't get why people are criticizing the idea of mmr. MMR is fine as a concept, the issue is a game design that incentivizes gen rushing over all else i.e. boring and low-skill game play

  11. I was the Jane this game and yes I played horribly (way worse then my average) but most of his complaints are not really true. I ALWAYS look behind me during choke points (he could see this at certain window vaults but failed to acknowledge that). In pantry I got fucked cause I didnt know both pallets downstairs were already used. But man watching this video complain about me is depressing. Take a chill pill, its just a game.

  12. It's not about winning, it's about having fun in the game. If you're not having fun then winning doesn't matter.
So next time someone tells you to stop complaining about winning just tell them that. Winning by itself isn't what is fun, it may be part of fun yes but just being handed a win isn't really all that fun to most people.

  13. Guide to be red ranks survivor from rank 20(not joking):
    1. Stick on gens whenever you can
    2. When in chase, run to the part where gens are done in straight line, drop pallet if you need to.
    3. Leave immediately when all gens are done
    4. Get another 3 friends that follow all 3 rules above to increase chance of success.

Sure, you may not be those red ranks that can play killer like a fiddle, but you are still red ranks according to the ranking system.

  14. If MMR is based on gens being completed, that would probably explain my plague game and my ghostface games today. On Plague, I try to push people off gens since I'm going for adept (keep getting 4k 9 hook but missing chaser because of the way cleansing works), and today I was just not able to stop gens even if I tried. As for Ghostface, he's my main and I mess around with him a lot, and would let gens fly since I could trust getting at least ruthless every game as him. Today I only got to EGC once with him, which even then that ended up with a 4k.
My one Huntress game, which I'd consider being "normal" gameplay, ended with a very close 4k, which required me to proxy someone to second stage AND use a weird addon (extra movement speed with 0 hatchets). Without doing that, the match could've easily been a 2k as I wouldn't have been able to catch someone who could open a 99'd gate and the person who was left slugged was next to hatch when I picked them up.

  15. What is MMR IN DBD supposed to do anyway because if you are playing against a "comp" team as someone trying to wind down with some clown games then the killers aren't happy but on the other end if you are just wanting to swf then you play against a mother-daughter ring spirit or double range add-ons nurse then the survivors aren't happy just not sure what MMR is even trying to accomplish
