Checking out the new updated skull merchant, which is SO much better than her previous kit. She is actually still very strong, and people seem to be a bit confused as to how she works or what the best way to play her is. This video is here to clear all that up.

  1. Can you do a video on possible counterplay? I know she's still semi-looable especially at some tiles with walls but it seems really hard to play against her when there's so many tiles where you just get hit with the injury and slow down pretty quickly and it seems like there's almost nothing you can do at most filler tiles. The cumulative 13% speed difference seems like a bit much to me

  2. I was in a match today where the baby Feng clearly didn't understand why they were getting injured and broken constantly because they would get injured any time they went to do an unhook, move to a gen etc.

  3. I'll never understand why you bring gen kick perks tofu, you brought two and I think you kicked 1 singular gen once 😂. Just bring jolt and an info perk or something man, maybe even the meta af Fire up

  4. Im going to miss her area control and versatility and i thought with the rework people would disconnect less but nope i think a majority of the playerbase NEEDS to take a break they are not having fun and quit immediately if something goes mildy wrong

  5. In all honesty I think people would give up less without DC penalties active. They punish players for leaving a bot in their place, and reward survivors giving up on the hook with BP and no ban time. I really don't blame survs for giving up half the time. Just wish they'd allow DCing so I can at least get a bot.

  6. She’s overall a lot more fun now, while better fitting her power fantasy of being an unstoppable tracker who has eyes everywhere. The new drones feel so much better for area denial instead of just gen defense

  7. She’s so great and fun man and I’m glad cuz my love for the game was already kinda sinking cause all the changes to spirit was making her less fun but these skull merchant changes are nice 🙂

And I just love the visual spectacle playing this killer gives u makes it less boring too!!!

  8. I haven't played DbD in quite a while now, but now that I learned of Skull MErchant, I might pick it up again. I was a a Doctor main, and since him, I haven't felt really in touch with a killer.

  9. You can also play her in a stealth way using the add-on that increases her undetectable by 20% and the other one that reduces the cooldown of the drones by 25%. She can have permanent undetectable and also doesn't make any sounds like Ghost Face, Mikey, or Wraith. It's kinda insane. I usually get a grab off the hop.

  10. I think the issue is the injuring thing. Drones giving haste, undetectable, killer instinct, deep wounds, broken, and hindered is just WAY too much value. I’ve played several games against her now and it seems way too effective, no matter the build. Even like a cheese exposed build can just deck survivors by protecting hexes and you can still pretty much camp gens if you place good drones and have a 3 gen.

  11. Amazingly put together. I haven't really read how she works cuz I kinda don't care about SM but I have heard that it's a bit complicated. You explained it very understandably in simple, great stuff Tofu <3
