  1. This was meant to drop yesterday but I went overboard with the editing and was up until 5am and still had to finish it today. So when I say they are the matches from today, they were actually the matches from yesterday when the mode first dropped.

  2. Event gamemodes that are meant to be "fun" and "memey", being filled with sweaty tryhards actually makes sense. I have coined it "the casual gamemode effect".

The reason this happens is because tryhard comp wannabes, contrary to what you might think, are more attracted to casual meme-y gamemodes rather than normal or competitive ones. This is because they think "everyone will be joking around and just having fun, so they'll be easy free wins!".

The result of this is that the more casual, fun event game modes are actually always more sweaty and tryhard than the default or actual competitive game modes. If there is a choice between a "normal" game mode and a "casual/fun" game mode, the casual game mode will always have more sweaty comp wannabes.

  3. Chaos Shuffle is my favourite gamemode, but this time its been rough… In almost all my survivor games there was someone on the team trolling or ratting.

Just last game I got weaving spiders and decided to do it just for the fun of it. Another teammate had a problem with that and showed the killer what I was doing. Literally brought him down into basement and pointed at me.
Different game, a Sable brought a key and hatch offering and sure enough when the first person got taken out, she tried to hide in lockers to wait out everyone else dying.
Plenty of games in which people in chase made a beeline across the map to the generator with the most progress to bait the killer into switching targets.
Also plenty of games in which nobody would bother to unhook others. I had to run across the entire map several times, passed other survivors doing dull totems while there was someone actively dying on hook… and I got left to die on first hook plenty of times too, in the same way.
At least I can say that all killers I've played against have been decent. No 4 man slug tactics, no proxycampers, barely any tunneling (and I think the bit I've seen was accidental anyways). The sweat and toxicity usually comes from the survivors.

  4. I'm assuming that killers tunnel because survivors likely have no second chance perks, and survivors gen rush because killers likely have no gen slowdown perks. Also, neither of them can rely on their perks, so they bring map offerings or the best add-ons to have somewhat of an advantage.

  5. I was playing survivor and got 1 escape because of all the sweaty blights so i switched to killer and had a team do all the gens in 5 minutes! So i went on marvel rivals instead😂

  6. dude, im honestly with you, and if i got Hook offering and fuckin Eyrie, id have just taken the timer, dbd is in desperate need of a comp mode, ive played much cause waiting on a new storage for storing vids, but i didnt even count my second match due to sweats, if all they are gonna do is waste my time ill just take a timer, ive been hostage AS killer in to many games, i could care less if people want to just bag in the exit, just leave, honestly love how i havent heard about the killer go next, id rather have fun decent games instead of just being punked by try hards.

  7. Dude I had 5 hackers in one day in this mode 5! In a row! I haven't had that many in the past 4 months. I asked each group why they did it and I kid you not they said because it's fun to ruin the mode for others. Half the teams I've played with dc'd or went next and the killers have been down right nasty. This mode has been nothing but a shit show the dnd dragon stuff is not even worth the hassle

  8. I never got why anyone would praise chaos shuffle because playing killer without a cohesive build is a death sentence against actually competent survivors, and if you’re playing soloQ without a good soloQ build you’re generally going to have bad matches. “Lol so funny randumb perks” stops being funny when you either play survivor and get tunneled at 5 gens or play killer and have three hooks before the gates are powered. It’s boring, it’s sweaty, there’s just no point unless you’re some big content creator trying to milk to gamemode for views

  10. Yeah I don't know what happened with Chaos Shuffle's matchmaking. The first time it came out, it was addicting. When it came back the second time, it was still fun. Third time… Holy… I haven't had less fun in a modifier. Yesterday I played seven games as survivor. I kid you not, four out of those seven games, the killer was p100. The other three games was a blight and a nurse running strong add ons and a spirit with audio issues. I got annoyed and played a few killer games then got off.

  11. lmao, have you ever thought that maybe this is cause the majority finds the most fun in trying to win with what they are given. Expressing skill through using random perks the best they can. What do you expect, killers to let survivors go for free, or for survivors to give the killer free kills?

  12. litterally, i won twice as cenobite, litterally learning how to play, my next match? earie, 2 p100's, 1 p81, a full bully squad
my next three matches? couldnt touch the box once and got bodyblocked 4 times by shoulder the burden/stims

  13. I hate having to use the sacrificial ward offering just to stop people from using map offerings
I want to bring my blood point offerings
Thankfully I'm able to win a good chunk of my chaos shuffle despite the bullshit the survivors do and the bullshit map rng

  14. BHVR showers players with B0 without the need to even play the game these days. No wonder people keep DCing as there is no reward at the end of the shitty rainbow so why would they endure a match they do not enjoy? Progression, rank system needs to be looked at again.

  15. i'm sorry but it's hard to take complains on map offerings now. there's no more excuse to not use sac ward. what do you prefer, extra 30k bloodpoints, or a risk to spend next 10 minutes in misery. the choice is obvious

  16. Yeah, I'm not enjoying the mode either. Somewhat for the same reasons (had some bad games yeah) but because I just hate to take that moment at the start of every match I need to comprehend what my Perks even are. And then every now and then I'll need to stop and look at them in the menu to remind myself what they actually do. Don't like the "Random Perk" Archive challenges for the same reason. And speaking of, I finished up the current Archives for the game mode so I don't need to play it until the next page comes out then I'll be trying to get it done as soon as I can and just go back to normal mode.

    Thanks for the video.

  17. Played like 15 matches and this was my experience

    1 – Normal
2 – Tunneled immediately by Pyramid Head
    3 – Proxy Camped Wesker
    4 – Tunneled by Nemesis
    5 – Teammate went next
    6 – Normal match
7 – Nother Teammate tunneled by a Pig
8 – Indoor Map offering Doc who also tunneled
    9 – Normal
    10 – Sweaty Blight
    11 – Tunneling Knight
12 – Unknown attempting to 4-man slug the entire match
13 – Teammate went next, turning an extremely winnable game into a loss
    14 – Sweaty Blight
15 – Teammate who dropped every pallet because they couldn't go next

This community ruins every event lmao. I can't wait for 2v8. It's genuinely such a meme of a mode that I don't think it's possible to really ruin it.

  18. I have not tried this game mode because I know that i would fun into players who take the game to serious but good to know if i ever do try this mode is killer then bring a offering to stop them from picking a map 😅

  19. map offerings have got to go. id rather a map voting system like in the old cod games where the game gives you a choice between 3 maps
however make it so the killer gets 50% of the vote and the survs get a collective 50% of the vote 12.5% per survivor and let them see what survivors voted for what. just dont let either side see each others vote.
survivors and killers bringing you where they want to is simply too annoying. make sacrificial wards remove all votes and make it entirely random.
no more completely skewing the match in your favor, this is just too annoying.
