I use this same exact build but instead of ruin (in my mmr totems are cleansed so quickly) I use friends till the end. Ruin is great as well, but I like more of the guaranteed value and information out of a perk as well as the feel good of getting a spooky insta down off guard!

In my opinion‚ removing toxic gameplay and encouraging fun interactions is the role of the devs. As long as a player plays within the intended bounds of the game‚ aka is actively playing and not exploiting‚ then all is fair to use. If it ends up not being fun for the other side it is on the devs to fix rather then the player to self moderate.
11:54 I think a lot of people seem to for get this is a PVP game, I mean imagine if one of the boxers in a boxing match started complaining that his opponent wouldn’t let him hit him or if a football player (real football not handegg) started to get upset that he wasn’t allowed to kick the ball because the opposing team were better than him.
I think in both those examples the player would be laughed out of their profession.
Unless you're forcing bleedouts for the sake of bleedouts any sort of slugging isn't toxic so much as it is killer actually playing the game. I get that survivors want that easy 4 man escape so they can teabag at the exits and spam GG EZ in the post game chat, but they have to EARN that

The way you slugged folks in that first match is perfectly sensible, in my book. It's only really toxic when all players are downed & bleeding them out. If anything, I would say semi-kinda tunneled the Yun-Jin was the most "toxic" thing that you did.
"Slugging isn't toxic". I'd say it definitely is, but what you did in game 1 isn't "slugging". You pretty much always picked up survivors after downing them except for when there were others nearby. Makes perfect sense to chase them there. Slugging for the bleed-out and/or slugging and never hooking until all 4 survivors are down is what is toxic, as it completely removes the ability for multiple people to actually play the game and the killers absolutely know it. The problem is the vocal part of the community has decided to say that not picking up a downed survivor within like 3 seconds regardless of anything else going on (i.e. knowing another survivor is nearby trying to get a flashlight save) is "toxic slugging" when it absolutely isn't.
I haven’t seen too much good Unknown gameplay as of late, maybe you could try this build?
