  2. Can't believe you seriously think Bubba is the best killer in DBD. There is no killer that comes as close to fairness and enjoyment as Skull Merchant. Just because her release was a let down doesn't mean the killer is terrible to go against. Obviously, some people, like myself, love playing against her due to her amazing potential for counter play and her hard-to-master power. Why do people still think that every skull merchant game is going to end in a three-gen? And don't even get me started on her looping abilities. Similar to Knight, if she places down a drone, it takes a few seconds to activate. Why not just run to a different loop when this occurs, similar to counterplaying Knight? I don't understand how survivor mains can be so oblivious to the fact that she is a skill-based killer who is very enjoyable to go against. It's been relatively obvious that survivors don't like "area denial" killers. This includes Hag, Artist, Knight, Trapper, and Skull Merchant. But the Skull Merchant puts an interactive twist on "area denial" that is different than these other killers. Her drones are not constantly surveying their radius, as Knight's do, so she must be less strong than him. And if you really think that because she has multiple drones, she is more powerful than Knight, then you must be playing a different game. Her drones only temporarily injure you. Knight has the ability to entirely zone a survivor to the point where if they do not take a hit from the guard, they are likely going down. After the rework, she also requires THREE separate instances of a survivor randomly and mindlessly walking into the radius of a drone in order to be injured. Why is it so hard for survivors to just disarm the drones, or not stay within the radius for these three instances? To me, I see no reason why you cannot counterplay the Skull Merchant similarly to any other area denial or zoning killer. If anything, she is more balanced and enjoyable than Knight, Hag, or the Artist. Compared to the Skull Merchant, Bubba is extremely boring to play as and against and his counterplay is extremely easy. And FYI, drones don't scan stationary survivors and crouching survivors. So how is it so challenging to just crouch up to a drone and disarm it every so often when the skull merchant enters the area near your gen? The excuses that survivors make for this game are unbearable. Maybe if you would actually play against the Skull Merchant more often rather than DCing, you'd be better against her and learn her counterplay.
