This is more of an example of why killers don't need nerfing rather than why players camp, tbh. Tru3 barely used Freddy's powers to take the advantage here. It was literally 95% all skill and reads. He outplayed and dunked on them in each exchange except for that first sabotage play and after he learned about it, he incorporated it in his strats to outplay them after. It was satisfying to watch.

Tru is much higher MMR then me so when I try his mind games I look like an ass because survivors do what I initially thought they would. 😭

The whole endgame situations are super shitty in DBD.
Before Endgame Collapse came it was ULTRA shitty.
And how you get to the Endgame for the survivors role is also shitty design, like press M1 continually and spacebar. How fun.
(And that's what most prefer to be doing…)
That's why I think VHS has so much better design and potential.
In there, both parties have the Endgame power, which dynamically shifts between them thoughout the match.
You don't "end" the match with the killer/Monster standing and you don't end it with the Survivors/Teens standing, so no side has time to waste with each other, ONLY GAMEPLAY.
For instance, when the all gens are done in DBD and a couple of survivors are waiting by the exit to teabag the killer and point their flashlights, what agency does the killer have?
He can either go there, take the teabags, the clicky clicky, or wait a couple of minutes for endgame collapse.
I think any game design that FORCES one side to either wait pointless minutes or take virtual bullying is just shitty design.
This game has been out for years, and it still feels like a babysitter being bullied by the kids rather than a fear-inducing killer, threatening survivors.. it can’t be that hard to balance, can it?
Play to the level of your opponents somtimes you have to camp if luck is not on your side. Especially in large maps where the gens are done in the correct order to prevent a 3 gen patrol.
Yeah. Survivors just show that you really should just play as hard as you feel like. The crazy thing is that they don't even acknowledge that, if you play nice, you've effectively let them go. They legitimately think they dominated you, it's crazy.
I'm not gonna lie. This "going for hooks experiment" was kinda odd. You did similiar thing a while ago, having hook count and going for as many hooks as possible, but also thinking about the bigger picture. I do not get what were you trying to prove. To go for chase after chase without trying to protect gens, slugg or proxy camp from time to time is just unrealistic.
What's amazing to me watching these vids is how many survivors tru3 plays against thatuse dead hard. It's gotta be like 75-80% if not more. Devs nerfed old ruin because they said it was over used at red ranks yet survivors abuse the ever loving shit out of dead hard and it stays without any changes. Total bullshit considering survivors do nothing to earn dead hard they just get it for free when injured. Dead hard for distance to pallets or windows is the strongest thing in this game. Causes absolute frustration and time waste on the killer side when the killer often outplayed the survivor, I think dead hard is unhealthy for the game in its current state. Yes you can bait it out when they aren't at a loop, but at a loop it's BS!!
Playing a lot of killer and survivor I can definitely say survivor is easier. The only hard thing as survivor is getting bad teammates. Especially after you realize the maps are designed that you have just enough time to get to safety before the killer gets to you. That's what makes Dead Hard so over powered, it turns a possible hit into a guarantied safety.
It says a lot to Trues content that I keep watching, even after I stopped playing after broken af boons became a thing.
This video just makes me sad and angry at how entitled most survivors are and how they think a game so blatantly unbalanced in their favor equals them having skill. I wish the killer was the power role the devs think it is.

11:06 I still think if the killer goes into the exit gate area, the exit should lock and be a mori zone for all who stick around. Survivors are too protected with options in the exit gate area. No anxiety of the killer being near. Most killers are useless at this point.

This video sums it up pretty perfectly. Exit gates are open, no reason to go hunting for others when you have one hooked. 9 times out of ten, confident survivors will try and go for the save, which can be punished gravely.
Survivors are given soooo many second chances. You know it's bad when the killer role doesn't have that unstoppable terror feel that it should. A shame, really.
That's just not normal to be more stressful while playing killer. Everytime I play survivor, i'm just chilling. Should be the opposite…

Just play normal you’ll stay around the 2k mark which personally happy with as long as the games are close, and I’m on the edge of my seat. I just play normal and i usually stay in the 2k area. Sometimes I get 4K sometimes I get 1, or none. But 🤷♂️

The game now is just 4 1v1s rather than 1 4v1, when each survivor has the same strength as a killer how do you think the survivors will do when they play optimally as a team as they're supposed to? They're 4 times stronger than a killer, devs need to realise the survivors shouldn't be able to loop nearly as long as they can rn with the gen speed being what they are, killers just do not have enough time when each survivor has the ability and resources to run the killer for 3-4 gens individually every game. Thats why so many killers now camp and tunnel and use noed because the game is so massively imbalanced

it's so sad that even though these survivors weren't anywhere good they managed to 3k out. they have perks like ds, unbreakable, dead hard, they got boons healing, hiding or picking them up, they got all kinds of loops and they got all kinds of pallets. by all that you still need 3 hooks to even kill a survivor. combine that with a breakout, sabotage survivor even annoying you more on the way and you got the example of a toxic community. it's so frustrating even when you did good losing like that. i had to camp two ppl yesterday on the hook cause they gen rushed me to oblivion and were toxic exactly like these guys. managed to get the third kill in the end even without no way out. that was nice. sadly the most toxic of them meghead got out being the most selfish survivor of that team :/
The best way to play this game is just run unfair perk and add on builds. Slug and tunnel. This is the only way to be successful at playing killer at this point.
I think the DBD community should take a break from playing this game so the developers shit their pants when the numbers drop and force them to make drastic changes to the game

What us killer mains don't realise is we have just as much power as the survivors. If we all stop playing killer until there is a change the game flops and they most certainly will change it. Its already a 10 minuet wait to find a game a survivor, how about all killers quit for a while. Then the devs will see its just as important to listen to killer players.

Ever since the Dead Hard buff practically everyone is running it. It's so broken, survivors have a consistent third health state.
Anyone who complains about camping or tunneling is outing themselves as a survivor main. Learn to play both sides. You'll appreciate them both better.
