  1. There has always been an argument that gen speed is fine, and killers just need to be good at causing map pressure. Slugging is really one of the only ways to cause map pressure at a high level, because if you just pick one survivor to down and hook, the other three are free to rush gens.

This update punishes the killer for juggling survivors. Going for a second down will be a waste of time because one will get up while the other is being hooked.

It's just very transparent that Behaviour still think of the game as a 1v1v1v1v1, rather than the 4v1 that it is. They're FORCING killer to play against one survivor at a time instead of engaging multiple survivors at once.

  2. Okay guys, today we're going to be shaking up the meta so that survivors don't keep using the same perks, to do this we've given them buffed base kit borrowed time, buffed base kit unbreakable, Decisive Strike 2.0, and a now working as intended dead hard. For the killers we've nerfed every single one of your slow down perks, early game slowdown, any gen defense in the slightest, and buffed perks you're never gonna use, we've also killed two needed strategies that can help you win which is slugging and effective camping/tunneling, but don't worry killers! All you need to do is down all 4 non-sluggable survivors and you will automatically win, simple right! We felt it was too boring for survivors getting camped and tunneled all game, so to fix this we've switched to trying to slug all the survivors since that's more fun! We all know killers would LOVE to play for hooks and use skill to win since they also dislike these boring metas, but this isn't about them, it's about making sure survivors are having a fun time because we only care about half of our player base! With love, The Hockey Devs.

  3. Why dont they just make a competitive mode without the baby changes and higher skill level perks, then put these bad changes in baby mode lol. Then the hardcore people can play comp, the rest can enjoy their constant killer losses at low level. Have like two separate character sheets/level up systems for each.

  4. At this point survives can get off hook, take a 2 protection hits after being unhooked, get downed, and force you to either pick them up and get DS's or get up with basekit Unbreakable as you're chasing someone else. This is disgusting.

  5. The problem I have with DBD is that the game is becoming more competitive than ever before. A lot of people think these changes makes the game more easier for survivor, however it encourages more people to play op killers which it creates a game where you get punish for playing low tier killers, a game where only very sweaty killers/survivors exist and a game where you are encourage to select nurse, blight which for some reason they are almost the only killers with too many op addons. I think what the devs should do is simply replacing hooks with something similar as PH's cages, or just changing how hooks completely work and maybe finally buffing low tier killers and nerfing op killers? I would also appreciate if they could add more ways of making pressure which are fun especially when they are destroying camping, tunneling, and slugging as ways to make pressure.

  6. What I’m seeing based on the community is that slugging and camping is the only viable way to win as killer at high MMR. But the devs are balancing the game for people at an average MMR and lower which is probably 95% of the player base. So from the devs perspective the game is more balanced as a whole.
