In my opinion, if tunneling, slugging in any way shape or form, face camping and proxy camping as of this moment still exist ( till anti face camping is in game) This perks should not have been touched in any way shape or form. If killers are going to flat-out Tunnel then they should be punished with faster gens.

    Edit; Ohhh yaaa and bloodlust too!!!!! Needs to be removed badly.

  3. i think killing a perk for the sake if nerfing it is stupid but in all honestly if you thought that perk was fine on ptb you should go against 4 people bringing good toolboxes with it and youll change your mind fast

  4. i don't think its that bad honestly. If im not mistaken you can now refill multiple times which can give alot of value and you can use 30 secs to move between locations or do other objectives.

  5. It's still absurdly broken and SWF bully squads will have a hay day with this nonsense. It's not at all hard to hit 5 great skill checks, especially on PC, there are multiple perks to increase the amount of skill checks that pop up, and the slow down is negligible in general. You can either power through and wait for it to end, or just gen tap until the gen is almost done, hit that fifth one and finish the gen and run to the next one, and by the time you get there – gone and you have a shiny new toolbox charged up again to help blow through that gen.

    It's entirely possible to finish all gens in about 3 mins now with a coordinated team all running this in a build that still includes the other meta perks for survival. Basically, they barely nerfed this, survivors have yet ANOTHER strong perk at their disposal, and gen completion times are now more absurd than ever thanks to it. Great job, behavior.

  6. they killed the perk because gen rushing meta is already too good you don't need gen speed perks to insta do gens you can do it anyways and with this perk which should be nerfed, which actually isn't because you can spend those 30 seconds looping, healing or doing a boon it's actually buffed because you can do it infinite times. I don't know what developers are actually doing with the game, taking out the fun of chase and instead trying to make the games go as fast as possible while putting all stress on killers. I don't main anything btw I play both killer and survivor. thx for reading and gl with your games in the new patch

  7. This perk is never gonna be used

    For one nerfing yourself for infinite toolbox is bad and the argument of “oh you can use that time to go do totems or heal or blah blah” not realizing that this perk just makes doing gens inefficient it would just be better to finish the generator instead of going to cleanse a totem or going to get chased who does that? Oh I’ve done 10% of a generator and now i have a -50% speed to generators time to go do something else for 30 seconds

    It’s funny too because the original version of this perk is outshined by built to last the only reason it was good and considered “scary” is because it was fast and activated on the fly while doing a gen but even then it wasn’t going to be meta because it only activates ONCE in the whole game

  8. Huh… So instead of balancing it or changing it to something else they just killed the perk… How did it seem like a good idea? I'm honestly curious to know
    "Oh but during the seconds you can go do something else"
    Why the hell would i go do something else when i have time to repair a generator to get out? What if the something else gets the entire team killer because the one thing i was supposed to do was a gen??

  9. I think the point of the change is to get people off gens for a little while, similar to how built to last does, so that you can't just instantly blast a gen. As a survivor main, I wish they wouldn't have changed it, but it does seem like a necessary change

  10. survivor main whining that BHVR killed this perk kinda proves it doesn't matter if it's healthy for the game or not, People will whine if you make the game slightly harder for them. the dead hard nerf is a great example of this. people to this day still say dead hard was fine…. same with that one scourge hook perk.

  11. It was perfectly fine the way it was :/ idk how they can kill the chase aspect of the game and push us to gens, and then push us away from perks that were specifically made for gens. Like HUH?
