Corrective Action is the least used perk right now in Dead By Daylight and that’s probably because Technician is a much better soultion for new players. Jonah was already very unpopular as a survivor and now there’s even less reason to level him up

It’s the perfect perk for if you play with someone who is trying DbD for the first time. It doesn’t need a rework, it’s just incredibly niche
I ran Corrective Action only for adept Jonah and the first game I got, I had a Dwight that kept coming on and off the generator (like tapping quickly) and used all of my tokens within like 5 seconfs
I had a couple of days where i used corrective action. My friend was new, he could hit skill checks but he had a weird habit of blowing up a gen that was 99% as the killer got near
Technician also punishes missed skill checks more
Hmmmm this feels like a RED HERRING
I play customs sometimes with friends and I take this, technician, bond, and red herring so I can go find my bff and troll the ever living heck out of her lmao. Missing all my skill checks and she can't do it back to me 😂 then the gen gets close and I pop into a locker and make a notification on the gen so whichever friend is playing killer goes after the gen and finds her 😂😂😂
what if u used this with a teammate with hyperfocus tho?
They should rework that perk
I have a friend and they kept missing skill checks so I might get this perk till they get better
It seems like a good Park the pair with Stake-Out because when you have enough tokens every skill check is considered a great one
Technician also isn't great since it regresses the gen by an additional 3% (should be changed to like -1.5% less regression). But I agree that this perk is terribly situational. Would be neat if it worked on both your and teammates missed skill checks with repairing and healing checks.
I started playing not so long ago and it's saddening that 75% of perks are useless, 20% would be good if I knew what killer is going to chase me, and 5% must haves
This perk is great, if and only if, when teaching a new player
The other issue with technician is that it makes the gen lose MORE progress on a failed skill check. I was 2 manning a gen with my buddy and watched him nuke it harder than a POP proc after missing 3 skill checks in less than 30 seconds. We started working on that gen at 50% complete, I got off when it went down to 25%
i'm a proud part of that 0.08% i love that perk lol
It's good if your against a doctor
I think it would be much better if the Survivor under the effect of this perk got great Skill Checks instead of good Skill Checks. Like, hitting a good Skill Check would take a token from the Survivor with this perk and the Survivor who hit a good Skill Check would get a great Skill Check. Sooo… Corrective Action would award YOUR teammates for YOU hitting a great skill check. And also! Corrective Action + Hyper focus.
Here I thought the least helpful perk was no mither
Against impossible skill check doctor this is a god tier perk
Sounds great for me. I'm really good at the skill checks, but my friend who has medical problems can't hit the skill checks so well. She's slowly getting better since starting, but still misses about 70 percent of them. I will have to test it out to see how it works with us to better strengthen the team. She does use Technician, but she plays solo at times too.
Where can I see the pick rate for perks?
I use the perk mainly because of all the Brainfog Meg and Feng Min mains.
No mither
Never gonna change my mind
*BHVR*: hold my beer
When your in a sfw and want to do gens: Hyperfocus, stake out, auto didact, and, if you know your homies really well… bring corrective action
Seems op its time to nerf pig
Of course that burnt hotdog has a useless perk.
Can we talk about how a majority of the META perks spoken of are for characters behind pay walls meanwhile no one wants to speak about pre-existing perks that have been need of attention. No disrespect it's just your also giving perks for those players that wanna sweat their balls off gen rushing,I'd understand it's uses if you have bad teammates but the games most rewarding when players stay in the match longer than 5 minutes (which quite literally is how the game goes 9 times outta 10)
Make perk rework to work around their positional area
Whenever I use Technician, for some godly reason it feels like it takes off -20% instead of -10%
Ngl I would call spine chill more useless, it used to be able to pair with resilience to get insane vault speeds but now it doesnt do shit besides tell you when the killer sees you within direct line of sight but at that point if he sees you theres a very high likelyhood that you already see him too so idk pretty useless to me
No technician is awful. Just miss it. EXTRA 3% is way more lost progress than you'd think
1. new player will have to spend money on it
2. 5 charged lost for every failed skillcheck is crazy
if a pro makes a new account its vital for him queing randoms at low ranks.
this perk is perfect for getting a friend into the game
This is not happening
