Players want to "kill" the skullmerchar bcs they don't want to think new form of play. Just want another SLASHER just run and chace like a freak animal. That was i think. I love the idea the hunt with INFO like you say in the first video of her. I see she got nerf to make another boring m1 killer. The game need a twist, remember old days when a killer have a ender build gen o gatekeeper.]
I not a player, but enjoy watch killer side and it awesome this new killer. But do know how make this game great again.

The way I see it is the main problem with her now is the fact she isnt getting downs in a 3 gen playstye. Most SM are just holding the game till either the hour server time limit or till the survivors DC. With the changes at least now ppl feel like chasing with her and get downs quicker and wont be holding the game for 30+ mins. I dont think the goal wasnt really to make 3 genning super weak for her since most killers in the game can hold a 3 gen and punsih survivors for that but to make holding the game for 30+min at a 3 gen much weaker.
i keep saying, the problem is not her power, its the meta. This whole 3 gen meta with all this 3 gen perks constantly fighting the meta where Survivors can just gen rush is just ruining the game and the way a lot of people see this Killers. Like…..if you look at her as a 3 gen Killer than Doctor is a 3 gen Killer, than Demo, Hag, Trapper and Knight are also 3 gen Killers, why? Cus they also can patrol gens easily, specially using this perks? So, this changes looks good, but it wont change anything until they change this god awful meta we are at right now.

I believe it all simply boils down to what the meta is and that having another shakeup will help with current state of the game. I mean when ruin was prominent within builds, you didn’t have killers constantly running back between gens to regress them as much as we do now. I think we need more perks that surround passive regression such as ruin, grim embrace, or deadlock, and that way taking chases will be more encouraged/incentivized.

I keep saying, aside from meta – the main issue with her is just the exposed status, just give her something else and it's fixed.
Maybe haste and faster skillchecks on gens, can be anything.
I like the changes. As I care more about the chases with her (and use drones for info), I see them as buff and you have just spoken my thoughts exactly with the 3-gen being most likely stronger. I guess we will see 🙂
The only problem I can see with the changes is that your speed might vary a lot (survivor gets trap, trap battery depletes, another survivor get's inside active zone for few seconds…) and it might get hard to decide if to commit or not commit to the current chase. I hope they will add some visual indicator for the remaining time for speed buff, or also add some lingering time for the buff (e.g. 5 seconds) in case someone just enters and exits your active zone for a second.
Like I've said forever…just fucking make it impossible for 3 gens to spawn so close to each other. Literally not hard to do at all but BHVR is apparently too stupid to figure this out. You could also make gens take x amount of time to complete based on which killer spawns in. Nurse 70 second gens. Hag 90 second gens etc etc. Dumb devs.

I don’t see 3 gens improving while call of brine and overcharge still exist. I still remember when 3 gens were like a battle for killers to hold down. now anyone can extend a match by 20 minutes by prioritizing kicking gens over the rest of the game.
So just run sloppy and gen perks to win in dbd now?
I don't really get why won't her 3 gen be weaker?
If u place 3 drones and wait like u did here, Survivor A B C can get in diff drone zones, and as u most likely can only chase one of them, 2 of ur drones will be disabled and u can only put back one of them.
Now let's say u guard the one gen who doesn't have a drone, 2 other non claw trapped survivor still can disable the other 2, and now u lose ur zoning but get better at chasing too, which indirectly discourages guarding 3 gen too.
Obviously it requires some more coordination from survivors but it's much better than being able to constantly replace ur drones I feel like
giving survivors agancy over the killers power always worked out so well… besides most ppl just 3 gen themselves and look for a reason to blame something else

Wrong approach… remove the control to freely placed drones.
Should do it Death Garden style… would have been waaaaay cooler. Where her drones are generated and she can go around the map and activate them. Survivors have the vambrances that can shoot and deactivate and down drones for a Time and then they will be reactivated. All drones start out deactivated.
Would have been so much cooler.
I mean you could have literally just mapped Death gardens: blood harvest mode straight on to this killer.
And it would have really!!!! changed things up.
If you remember the drones give wall hacks by default in Death garden: blood harvest.
Well! That exposed status effect would be a little bit more scary because as more drones get activated more of the map gets covered. Which means you literally need to run and gun AND loop. Also drones could be pre disrupted before the killer could activate them. They could still be activated after a time out. But the trade was once that drone is online it’s permanently only and can only be momentarily disrupted.
So imagine a survivor that’s at a tile that has to occasionally look up and shoot a drone that’s just reactivated because it will expose them and reveal them. And if it’s late game you’d have to do this everywhere there’s a drone.
Now obviously you can’t have any bushes to permanently stealth in but that specific piece of the game loop with the drones, vambrances, and chasing would have been such an honorable mention to their old ip. And infinitely cooler.
And yes the entire map could become covered and drones could be activated passively and directly. So the killer couldn’t completely rush drone activation.
Scale 100% map coverage to a nemesis like mechanic. Or a meyers. Just something to make sure drone activation in terms of map coverage follows a curve that’s not tooooo steep. But also make sure survivors can’t lock the killer completely out of her mechanic.
She makes it easy to three gen. Why choose anything else when 3 gen is the optimal choice
