  1. It has gotten to the point where this behavior does not make me cringe anymore. I have been tole worse over and over playing DBD while playing as both killer and survivor. This behavior is not new and i dont ever see it going away.

  2. Streamers that don't have vods enabled are a red flag. You just know there's a 85% chance they say stuff on stream that would get them banned if their content was easy to review.

  3. They’re both wrong. Regardless what builds they brought in, they are still playing how they want to play. Which there’s nothing wrong with how people want to play. No one should insult people like that. It’s also known that if you are a killer teaming with a survivor it is unfair. I’ve done it of course were I tried to befriend the killer and sometimes they let me live. I also know it’s unfair when one survivor befriends the killer and everyone else is killed and the befriended survivor gets to live. It would be nice to play the game as it’s intended. But as you know, no one really does that. It’s a β€œparty game” like you said. I do understand the frustrations of the other survivors when their teammate goes to the other side…and teaming is against the rules. I’ve felt guilt for doing it myself. Even tho I know it’s against the rules, I will still try to meme at times. This does leave guilt from knowing how the other survivors must feel when the game is tilted in unfavorable circumstances and one survivor is glorified. I do understand that, and it is very unfair. That being said, the comments the streamer made are disgusting. It’s okay to express your displeasure over a situation, but never to the point of extremism. Either or…technically they are both wrong. One for teaming and one for the disgusting commentary.

I will say again, for clarification. I have befriended killers as well. I also know that this is teaming, frowned upon, and against the rules no matter what funny/meme context you want to put it in.

  4. It's nice to see the good side of dbd, especially since the toxic side seems to have escalated over the years. Just be nice and if a game doesn't work out, on to the next one!

  5. So not only were they waiting upstairs in the building to constantly abuse boil over, they were depending on the Laurie not being caught and doing gens while they sat up there safe? Hmm okay🀣🀣

  6. Well to be fair Laurie managed to get most stuff done cause Dragon let them live and go about their business. If played regularly Laurie would of died first probably. But yeh, as a fellow Brit probably a town or two over from that streamer, I can vouch this is how angry and verbally abusive we can get up here in the North. Its taking me a long time to phase this aggressive behaviour out of myself. I grew up around this behaviour and its been difficult to not be aggressive in competitive games when it's been the norm for a majority of your entire life. I still get angry and aggressive but never do I get homophobic or racist like that.

  7. The message at the end is so important — don't associate yourself with these people! And yes, it is a party game. Just imagine if people were like this over Mario Party… wait, are people like this over Mario Party?!

  8. What were the end game stats? who was doing the most cuz dragon said he say her doing a bunch of stuff, I'm interested in the points at the end now like if the Laurie actually did do a bunch while they were hiding or whatever cuz the points at the end would end the argument instantly.

  9. Can anyone confirm that this isn't missmewnetic, a streamer from the same area in England that streams with Naymeti often? She kind of sounds like her, and if it turned out to be her, I'd be sad πŸ™

  10. What's that term you used when referring to the offensive player/their party? "Swiff"? "SWF"? I'm a semi-casual player and would like to know more about the game overall. Thanks for also reporting this because that angry streamer was something else.

  11. She sounds like one of them teens who spend their nights in groups smoking and drinking white cider in parks and probably fighting each other and hurling abuse at anyone passing by. Typical English chav girl

  13. She is absolutely disgusting. As a brit, I'm ashamed to say I'm from the same area of the world people like her live. It's so lovely to see Dragon stand up for that Laurie the way he did & hats off to his mod for ensuring it was going well/not going well! Sounds like that girl needs to leave DbD on the back burner for a while, if she gets that irate! I've just been burnt out with the game in general and some of the matches haven't been the greatest, so I've taken a break & gone to play other games. It's not difficult to just move on and take a break. Damn. Also thank you Spook for bringing these things to people's attention. I applaud what you do & nobody could say it better πŸ‘πŸ»
