Singularity has been out for a few days and its very clear that this is one of the hardest killers to master in Dead by Daylight.
I have invited the two best teams in Dead by Daylight to play in a Singularity Showmatch with $300 prizepool to see how the best players use and also counter him.
Both of them have practiced playing with and against Singularity in the past week and came up with very unique builds and strategies.
The 300€ Prizepool was partially crowd funded huge thanks to:
DonArcana: 50€
RoxannaGV 10€
Hyperion7312 13,37€
Frikerf 6,90€
SausageTears 3.33€
MaybePigeon 13,37€
Zexov 45€
MaybePigeon 4,20€

  1. easily the coolest m1 killer in the game at this point especially in a comp setting, both the 1v1 and 4v1 aspect require constant huge amounts of brainpower from both sides

  2. This is by far the most efficient camper in DbD. Name another killer that can camp a hook this well and watch / teleport to multiple gens at the same time.

  3. Singularity is defintley good addition by devs but doubt ill ever really play it because its just frustrating and it takes so much focus like way more than even blight or wesker. Wesker will still be my favourite easily

  4. Hens, this type of competitive showcase content is the best on your channel, i love it so much, even more so when its you and otz commentating, an expert killer + survivor, keep it up brother!

  5. Really appreciate that you organize these showcases of top tier gameplay by both sides. Kudos to all the participants who also took the time to participate!

  6. Bro, Hens, you are releasing videos so late, that patch came through and another change to singularity been done. Plan your schedule, because one day you are spitting 2-3 videos and after there's 10 days without a single one

  7. Really like the killer, with a few changes I'd probably play em a lot more. Before I finish watching the video I'm going to taker a bet that Hope + Made for This will happen and it'll cause me to get mad on sight alone. Really good stuff as per always.

EDIT: Yep, saw it and got a bit peeved. I really liked the Forced Penance idea, tried it on how I play em and it worked out so much better than what I was running! These guys are showing off some really amazing stuff, and if you pay attention even you can do it which is so awesome. Your commentary helped A LOT here with you being very educational.

  8. Thanks for sharing this video, I've been playing a lot of Hux and got him to rank 9 so far. He's damn hard to get a grip on swf or well knit teams, it can mess with you if they know cameras too. But I love him and he is probably my new fav killer.

  9. One thing I found interesting was how it was basically forced penance vs sloppy butcher in terms of the slowdown on healing. Interesting to see the difference between the two in terms of how they effected the outcomes of the games!

  10. As fun as the killer is, at lower elo or against survivors that dont play thousands of hours or against this killer much the spam teleport is very very strong. Especially in solo q. I wish they had a system where perks and killers had a point system so if you want to run the best killer best perks you then up your poiints to vs survivors running meta perks with meta items and addons. Would make it more well balanced, but would remove alot of randomness from the game.

  11. As someone who has not studied the competitive scene in dbd, how does running pain res make sense, if you just camp for the rest of the game? Wouldn't something passive like Deadlock work, or maybe something to get the down sooner? Out of the three matches it was used, it only seemed to matter once, and it just seems to me that people would want to run perks that help them in every match, not just some matches.

But maybe it did more than I thought. Or maybe the benefit is worth the risk. I just don't know.

  12. Absolutely incredible showcase, but also I wanna shout out how amazing the casting is from Hens!! It's no where near as easy as you make it look, but you manage to keep it interesting and informative, and make it clear what is happening at every stage of the game! It's honestly an absolutely incredible skill, and imo completely deserving of praise!!! Incredible video featuring incredible players, with their skill highlighted and explained so well that even people with little understanding of DBD can follow along!!! 10/10 job by everyone involved!!!

  13. I feel like a good build for the singularity would be awakened, bbq, blood echo, and corrupt intervention. (Awaken awareness) shows the survivors who are trying to be near for a save so you’re not baited to another chase while they get the rescue after hooking. (BBQ)for far gens rushers location negating the need to set up orbs on these generators. (Blood echo) will help slightly prevent others wanting to take hits during chases to help others. And then (corrupt intervention) for having time to set up orbs around for a better 3 gen situation as well as placing orbs around emp boxes to slow them from having them as quickly. If you have time to set up orbs around gens in close proximity then you can have 24/7 watch in 3 gens
