  1. I'm hoping they are cautious with the nerfing eventually. I've played against Vecna a few times and I don't think he's completely uncounterable, but let's see…

    For instance, the guy that you got at killer shack could've dropped the pallet INSIDE killer shack with you there and then if you used your power, he'd just move ahead and put the pallet down, neagting the power. That relies on the Vecna making a blunder though, because you could also not use your power and wait until he vaults the pallet and THEN use your power .

    Either way, I see that there's room for smart plays vs Vecna, but it's hard and you have to be a bit mischevious in your thinking.

If they nerf the hand but buff flight/skeletons I feel like Vecna could be in a good spot; right now he is being carried by one of his abilities being busted; ideally he should be mixing and matching powers to gain an advantage; he also can struggle with chases because of this right now, because you're essentially an M1 killer when the hand is on cooldown. (so essentially, you are constantly waiting for hand to come off cooldown and making sure not to waste it, which means survivors can waste a lot of time even if you are outplaying them)

    Hand should take significantly longer to pick up a pallet; blocking pallets should be the main way to get downs at loops, the pickup should be the more niche option (a counter to predrop>detach and to beat certain godloops)
    Skeletons are not in the worst spot now, but probably need even faster startup and need to keep a survivor crouching for a bit longer (maybe a combination of faster startup but slower flight speed might be perfect for that); that way he can mess with survivor's distance by forcing them to slow down more; which can lead to players outpositioning themselves.
    Flight needs to recover A LOT faster (almost instantly) when used to vault a window (as well as maybe just a bit faster in general); it does it's job as a traversal tool but the vaulting ability should be useful in a chase and right now it just isn't; Vecna should be able to guarantee a hit if he predicts a vault and follows the player; there would still be counterplay, as the flight can be baited with window feints.

    Of course, this being BHVR, they will probably just nerf everything about him instead of only nerfing the parts that overperform and buffing the parts that are bad.

  3. I think the counter play in this state about picking up the pallet would be like – drop the pallet, stand still Vecna picks it up and just wait and stand there and drop it again? Its faster than Vecna canr recover from the spell or?
