  1. from a lore point of view I don't think the entity actually cares if all the survivors escape or get hooked, they just escape back to the camp for another match up so with infinite matches the chances of a survivor not being hooked drops to 0%. This is purely a lore point of view not actual gameplay but I do think the entity is a patient beast and will play the waiting game for its hooks as it keeps the survivors nice and full of hope to feed on
