What’s the deal with the head shake after downing someone in Dead By Daylight? I’ve been seeing it happen a lot, especially in 2 V 8 and I’m not sure what the killer players here are trying to communicate

  1. I mostly do it just to let them know there’s no toxicity, one match I watched someone get sandbagged and I accidentally downed her and shook my head no. Ever since then I just do it out of reflex

  2. I usually tell people no or stop mostly, but I give some examples, like

    1. Get off the Gen

    2. not getting me this time (like on a loop or doing the same trick they did earlier in the match).

    3. stop I’m going to hit you if you keep doing that. I let you go before because I didn’t want to tunnel you.

    4. I’m not trying to farm; I want a normal match.

I think that behavior needs to give killer emotes to help express stuff like that better and give them 4 because, on the console for survivors, at least there are only 2 buttons on the d-pad that are used for that, so there are 4 unused buttons for killer. They should also give survivors 2 more for the same reason, but mainly to help communicate with other survivors.
