  1. Also what FOV do you play at? I usually play at 98 on most killers, but I've heard that higher FOV messes with your directional audio on spirit, and I am noticing this in some of my games, not sure what the best level is

  2. I used to play a ton of Spirit back in the day. Haven't had much time to play these days but slowly getting back into it. I keep hearing about that bug but I don't exactly understand it very well. From what I understand, when you phase using the Spirit, the husk makes a bunch of noise, which interferes with the ability to track successfully? I have noticed that it seems more difficult to track survivors phasing since they all sound very quiet. Is that the husk bug interfering with my sound? Is that correct? And this new skin doesn't have the bug making it by far the best skin to use since it reverts her back to how she was?

  3. 5:24 the only negative I can say about this video is that there wasn't enough coverage of your iridescent level face 🙈

The music was very wholesome, your narrating was great, and the gameplay was fun and entertaining as ever 😊

  4. To build on people😂 complaining about the BGM, I think it'd be fine to keep it. What could help would be to do more of the 5:45. Muting the BGM precisely in the moments where you were actively listening helps a lot. The pant was great as well!

If you somehow have even more massive amounts of time for editing then you could even consider gradually boosting the audio until you get your hit in 😄
That way people would better learn what it is that you're listening for.

  5. i love your spirit gameplay videos (its actually the reason i found your channel!) but i agree with the comments about the background music/sound effects, its a bit hard to focus on the gameplay (about how quiet a skin makes the killer) when the music is very loud in contrast

  6. Hi there,

First of all, I want to say that I appreciate the effort and time you put into making content for the Dead by Daylight community. I understand that creating videos takes time and energy, and I always respect creators who are passionate about sharing their experiences with others. However, after watching this particular video, I feel the need to express my thoughts and concerns because, unfortunately, I didn't find it as enjoyable as I had hoped. I don't intend to be overly critical, but I think it’s important to share constructive feedback, especially if it can help improve future content.

Pacing and Editing: One of the biggest reasons I didn’t enjoy the video was the pacing. At times, it felt like the video dragged on longer than it needed to. There were sections where the gameplay seemed repetitive, and the commentary didn't add much to keep the energy up. In Dead by Daylight, where matches can be long, I understand that some segments are inevitable, but there were moments where the video could have been trimmed down, or perhaps edited in a way that highlighted more engaging aspects of the game. The pacing of content is essential, especially when it comes to a game like Dead by Daylight, where tension and unpredictability are key aspects of the gameplay. Keeping the pace exciting while still being informative would make the video more engaging.

Lack of In-Depth Strategy or Insights: As a fan of Dead by Daylight, I enjoy watching videos that offer some level of insight or strategy. Unfortunately, I felt that this video lacked that. Many of the moments seemed like they were just gameplay with minimal commentary on what strategies were being employed. For example, when a killer would down a survivor or a survivor would evade the killer, it would have been nice to hear more about the thought process behind these actions. Were they making use of map knowledge? Were they baiting out certain perks? What could they have done differently? It would have been great to see some strategic breakdowns rather than just a surface-level commentary. Offering more strategic insights could not only help newer players understand the game better, but it would also make the video more interesting for veteran players who are looking for advanced tips or thought-provoking content.

Overuse of Humor/Exaggerated Reactions: While I understand that humor is a big part of many YouTube channels, I felt that the humor in this video was a bit overdone. At times, it seemed forced, and there was an overreliance on exaggerated reactions to things that were happening in the match. This kind of content might appeal to a younger or more casual audience, but for me personally, it detracted from the overall quality of the video. I would have preferred a more natural approach, where the humor came from authentic reactions to gameplay events. It’s important to strike a balance between entertainment and delivering a quality, immersive experience, and for me, the humor felt like it undermined that balance.

Audio Levels and Sound Design: Another aspect of the video that I didn’t enjoy was the audio. The volume levels between the game sounds and your voice were sometimes inconsistent, making it hard to focus on the commentary. At certain points, the in-game sounds would overpower your voice, making it difficult to hear what you were saying, and in other moments, your voice would suddenly become louder than the gameplay itself, creating an imbalance. Proper audio mixing is crucial, especially in a game like Dead by Daylight, where audio cues can be extremely important for gameplay. When the sounds aren't properly balanced, it detracts from the experience for viewers who may be watching with headphones or trying to focus on both the game and the commentary. It might be a small detail, but it’s something that can significantly impact how immersive and enjoyable the video is.

Lack of Focus on Specific Characters or Builds: One thing that I think could improve the video is a more specific focus on certain characters, killers, or survivor builds. Dead by Daylight has a large roster of killers and survivors, each with unique abilities, and watching a video that showcases a specific build or strategy for one killer or survivor could be a lot more interesting. This could help the viewer not only learn about the mechanics of the game but also give them a deeper understanding of how to maximize their potential with certain characters. Instead, the video seemed more like a random assortment of gameplay that didn’t really explore anything in-depth. I believe that focusing on a specific character or set of strategies would give the video more purpose and direction, which would make it more enjoyable to watch.

Viewer Interaction and Community Engagement: Another aspect that I thought was missing in this video was interaction with your viewers. I know that many Dead by Daylight content creators have dedicated communities, and engaging with them can add a lot of value to the content. Whether it's addressing viewer comments, responding to questions about gameplay or strategies, or even incorporating suggestions from your audience, this level of interaction can make the video feel more personal and connected. At the end of the video, a call to action or asking for input could have made it feel more engaging for viewers. Without that sense of connection, the video felt like a one-way street in terms of content delivery. Engagement isn’t just about growing your channel, but also about making your community feel heard and valued.

Visual Presentation: I also felt that the visuals could have been better. There were several moments in the video where the quality of the gameplay was not clear, and the video resolution seemed lower than expected for a YouTube video. While I understand that Dead by Daylight’s gameplay can be a bit intense and chaotic, ensuring that the video is visually clear is important. Whether it’s through higher resolution or better camera angles, clear visuals help improve the overall viewing experience. For example, moments where the killer was chasing a survivor could have been framed better to show more of the action without feeling too jarring or off-center.

Overall Enjoyment and Impact: Lastly, while I understand that not every video is going to be a hit, the overall enjoyment for me was a bit lacking. I didn’t feel particularly engaged, entertained, or informed throughout the video. As much as I wanted to enjoy it, I found myself losing interest after a while, which is unfortunate because I usually enjoy Dead by Daylight content. A stronger focus on content structure, pacing, and viewer interaction would go a long way toward improving the experience and making future videos more captivating.

I want to make it clear that this feedback comes from a place of constructive criticism. I do appreciate your effort, and I’m sure others may have enjoyed the video in ways I didn’t. I hope my thoughts can be taken as helpful suggestions for improving future content. Thanks for reading, and I look forward to seeing how your videos evolve!

    Best regards,
    King Calamity
