Wesker makes Coup truly shine… | Dead by Daylight

This video explains why “Coup de Grâce” is actually a really strong perk on Wesker and how it might help you fill the gaps of his power while you learn how to play as him. If you find yourself frustrated with Wesker’s current tiny hitboxes, Coup might just make you enjoy him a bit more.

  1. Otz's thought process: if I can charge my bound here, then I can force the Survivor into this pallet, where I can use my Coup token to get a down, which applies pressure on all the other survivors and slows down the game slightly, which then allows me to cause a snowball effect and win the game.
My thought process: hmm walk straight no work, I walk backwards

    Edit: a typo

  2. similar reason why I recommend coup for new huntresses, can use it on small loops you can't throw over so they don't waste time playing the "pull up a hatchet or not" minigame against survivors that can just not drop the pallet and keep running in circles

  3. Competitiveness killed this game. It use to be all about just messing around and now its all about making it as balanced as possible. So I went from being a rank 1 killer to being a rank 1 survivor without even trying, and in the last 15 games I played, everyone escaped every time. Seriously people, just let the game die already. It aint fun anymore

  4. If they want Wesker's ability to be a properly satisfying thing, he NEEDS to have his own hitbox adjusted so he doesn't catch on every single tiny stupid map detail. It's absolutely useless around so many loops because of how unreliable it is, blegh.

  5. Coup is good, but I feel like it needs a minor buff. Like maybe make it so each gen gives 2 tokens, and then it costs 1 token for a missed lunge, and 2 for a hit. I don't think that would make it too powerful, but would make it better than it is now.

  6. I found that bamboozle can really pop off on wesker, survivors rarely expect it and the extra speed can be pretty nice even on normal vaults. Also Save the Best for Last since it's usually easier to get hits with wesker rather than with demogorgon, and stbfl is pretty good even on demo.

  7. Otz, I ran a build on Wesker: Caulrophobia tier 1, Unnerving Prescence tier 1, Distressing tier 1 and Monitor tier 2. If I'm correct it gives up to a 72m terror radius? and the survs HATED it. I'd recommend giving it a try! Especially on Dead Dawg Saloon if you're feeling really evil.

  8. There is literally no counter play to these kinds of busted maps unless you have the right perk… so… yerrr… Perks should be an addition to your playstyle, not a necesity to deny busted game mechanics. In this case an entire interconnected map of pallets and windows. Anyone arguing against this obviously never played killer 😉 If survivors lose on a map like this, they are literal potatoes.

  9. Otz you should try out terminus with no way out and any other perks you want. I've found terminus and no way out to be the most consistent endgame build. With 4 hooks you are guaranteed lots of time where survs are permanently broken and anyone injured will be too. Makes it really dangerous for altruistic teams.
