Dbd for free would be awesome and they don't need to change anything cause Dbd is already like those free to play games but i think they didn't did that cause:
1. They get money from new consuments even if i think they mostly get money from DLCs
2. They are not yet confident in their system and ability to stop cheaters

i love to see a mortal kombat chapter or a call of duty zombies chapter. for mortal kombat would be based off the first movie.the survivors would be Sonya Blade and Johnny Cage or Jax Briggs. the killer choice will be between scorpion,Goro or Shang Tsung or kano or reptile. the map on Shang Tsung's Island in ruins and for the cod zombies map would hard because you have the iconic old Maps like Origins,mob of the dead kino der toten and others but imagine doing gens in one of those maps. the survivors would be Edward Richtofen, Tank Dempsey and a legendary skins would be also known as the Takeo Masaki and Nikolai Belinski. the killer would be Brutus also known as the warden.

I don't think it's dying, but I do think the game has always been successful despite itself and BHVR, and reality is catching up. I also expect them to shove another Resident Evil crossover in with Lady D, either by the end of this or next year
