  1. Had a game the other day where I 12 hooked on Freddy and they accused me of camping/tunneling lol
Also accused me of being toxic for "attempting to bring back forever freddy" because I was running scourge hook, pop and tinker so they were upset I was running "3 slowdown perks"
Forever Freddy doesn't exist anymore my dude, the addons were changed to shit tier….
Basically what I'm saying people will bitch about anything, even low tier Freddy who plays for hooks.
God forbid a match is more than 5 minutes.

  2. I love tru3 and was one of the first people I started watching when I started dbd, but it’s starting to get annoying when in almost every video he complains about the same stuff over and over and even complains about other people complaining. Just play the game and entertain like your getting paid to do. Thanks

  3. Sometimes I don’t understand how Tru3 can say he consistently plays insane survivors.
Dude you are 4k’ing with a nerfed wraith??? That’s not gonna happen against strong teams. You’ll be lucky to get a few hooks, considering how miserable the game balance is.

    You know better mate.

  4. What otzs "experiment/ challenge" really proves true is whichever side brings the most META shit, add-ons/ perks/ tactics, can consistently come out on top.

It doesn't prove killer op, or survivor op, that was never his intention. He started with the narrative many of us believe (yourself included) that at the highest level the game is survivor sided.

And being totally honest I still feel that the game DOES in fact favor survivor at the highest of high levels, however otz proved that a killer playing in the most optimal, efficient, straight forward manner (aka scummy/ boring) outside of the comp scene or those games where they face comp level survivors that they can still outperform even at the high levels. What I mean by that is equally skillful killer players have just as much of a chance to "win" if they commit to playing META exclusively and survivors can escape if they do the same, it quite literally comes down to who sticks to the META (Most Efficient Tactics Available).

I will concede that against the most efficient 0.00001% of survivors though even that will not work. But then we're talking comp teams and players with 7k+ hours which is less than 1% of the games population.

I myself only have 3.6k hrs and notice most teams I play against aren't comp level despite being insanely good. Most teams I play on as survivor have at least 1 hacker or the other 3 survivors have a combined hours total under 400 so I'm thrown in for balance. SBMM will always do its best to balance skill to queue times.

TL:DR – both sides stand a chance IN PUBS it comes down to which side cares less about having fun, and more about "winning".

  5. No perk and AFK 30 seconds was OTZ trying to prove the game isn't survivor sided. Basically he compared it against a sweaty build and he performed slightly similarly, but he's just good at killer so IDK how this data would prove anything really…

  6. The arguments True presents here are why I track both hooks and kills in my matches to track my progress on how I do as a killer. I think that paints a more clearer picture of how a match goes (not completely, but clearer than just kills).

  7. 13:25 the data is data, you interpret it how you want, you can interpret it as KILLER IS OP, or you can just look at it as it is, that you can 4k on killer on most games, or whatever the data would show. and then you can interpret it as "survivors are bad at the game" or "survivors love using we're gonna live forever/maxing out blood points with altruism as opposed to playing optimally to escape" or " KILLERS ARE OP" or if the data says killers average 2k then you can say "dbd is balanced currently, or for a certain mmr"

  8. sadly idk if the game can be balanced because it just depends on how everyone in a game wants to play, i had a game where i faced a pinhead who had, thanataphobia, pop, no way out, and NOED and he literally face camped the first survivor and then facecamped the next one, who proceeded to kill themselves on hook cuz nobody likes just sitting on a hook, and when they reached 2nd stage he finally left to play normally, but it got him a 4k only i did gens cuz i had kindred to see him camping, the other 2 were both trying to unhook while the pinhead legit just looked at them like, "NO, my kill" and the killer being pinhead and cuz of the other 2 survivors being idiots i kept having to get the box as well so chain hunts don't prevent me from doing gens, so his camping paid off, but a lot did have to do with the other survivors not just doing gens and the one killing themself faster, but again who wants boring gameplay of just sitting on a hook, MMR has given the killers that enjoy playing this way an actual excuse now to go for kills, cuz to them kills= they are good cuz high MMR= u are good
MMR is why this playstyle is out more and probably also why survivors rush gens more cuz only by escaping do they go up in MMR, im not a high high MMR survivor but i know when i get good teammates cuz 3 gens will be done in 1 good chase, or the game ends in 5 mins if the killer can't catch said survivors cuz either they are a weaker killer, or the loops/ pallet placements during a chase were to strong
regardless there is so much RNG in a game like this and to also have the potential of very powerful items/addons/perks to further exasperate it, that basically at the highest MMR/"skill level" survivors should all have the best perks and might as well all bring tool boxes with addons every game, and killers well, good luck cuz if solo's all learn to run kindred to be able to spot camping the killer will most likely get 1k or 2k if they also have NOED+No Way Out to clutch a final kill, unless the survivors were also able to do all totems somehow while gen rushing, i assume only the most experience would, cuz they would know all totem locations
ik this is long and seems like it isn't getting anywhere but IMO what it comes down to is games are supposed to be fun, so u play them however u enjoy, if u feel u are forced to play in a way u don't like or face a killer playing the way you don't like than perhaps it is time to leave the game? Don't get me wrong I know True is good at this game and loves it and wants it to be balanced but in all honesty, they would have to restructure the entirety of the game in order to do so cuz u can't "force" killers to not camp/tunnel and u can't force survivors to not do gens too fast lol
those are all choices the players make

  9. I use to started watching Tru3 for tips on being better at DBD. Now, I watch because 1) I like Tru3 and 2) to remind me why DBD isn’t as fun as VHS. Tru3 is great at DBD, but so much of the community dislikes him and even the devs took his fog whisperer status away over a reason that doesn’t pan out. I hope vhs does well enough for Tru3 to move over. He deserves a new community and a game he will enjoy that the devs won’t run into the ground.
