Well, survivors have pixels that hang off them , That messes with the hitbox

"How is this different"
Well I could get technical and say that the killer can use their ability without a janky wind-up time or slowdown that gives people time to react.
That's mostly what makes it different. All other anti- loop killers give you a warning that they're about to use their ability. Alien lacks that.
Imagine, if you will, Nemesis but he could immediately throw out his whip without wind-up. Imagine Pyramid Head that doesn't slow down but can also use Punishment of the Damned anytime he wanted.
I think most people will start to understand me even if they're on the fence about this. Alien tail attack can't be punished as hard as other similar abilities can be, and I think that's an issue.

there's a reason huntress is a slow killer and needs to wind up and pyramid head gets his clunky mobility when charging his attack, BOTH have a cooldown too.
and turrets are a joke with xeno's addons.
It is different because it is basically nemisis with his tentacle raised, only has to hit once to damage, but moving at 4.6, can gain bloodlust, has a redused terror radius, can still m1 and her only counterplay only buys you 3 seconds of time becuse turrents dont do squat most of the time. Issue with xeno is that there is no tell as to whether or not she is using her power or not. Even if you try to predict to dodge the xeno can just m1 anyways. You don't even need to use your tail most the time because the pressure from the m2 is too prominent and requires no skill or action on your part. Anti chase is fine, but when the anti chase requires you to have superhero type reaction time because of a windup time in the milisecs, it changes everything. Cant even compare her to artisr because at least you can hold w against artist.
Yeah but every other killer with a ranged power has to pull up, xeno doesn't and she can teleport across the map
I agree with bran when he says this chapter is perfect there IS counterclaim to the tail give it time and learn it or just look it up on YouTube I'm sure you'll find a guide or a video of someone juicing xeno
Tbf survivors hate damn near every killer with remotely good anti chase so this ain’t even exclusive to the Alien
Xeno can drag the M2 down behind loops to hit. You drag that damn tail and you will eventually get a hit with that full movement speed.
This feels like you only read half the conversations about it or actively choose to ignore and leave out WHY people have an issue with the xenomorph anti chase in specific. You go on about how many ani chase killers we've already gotten so we "shouldn't be surprised" as if anyone is actually surprised when they aren't. Almost ALL of the people I've seen talking about it aren't upset just because "anti chase bad boohoo" like you make it out to sound. They almost always have issue with the fact that the anti chase has little to no downside if any at all and using the power has little to no animation to react to with how fast it is.
1. Turrets do literally next to nothing other than tell you when the xenomorph is coming and buy you probably a few seconds to get away without hardly ever removing xenomorph from their power. Anyone who has played xenomorph for even a day should be able to destroy turrets with their tail long before it removes them from their power even without the add ons to protect you from them. The only times turrets actually work against any half decent xenomorph past buying you a few seconds is if you double up on them in the same area which is HORRIBLY inefficient.
2. Once you have the power you are a full speed killer with a ranged weapon ALWAYS primed and ready to fire. It fires so quickly that you have next to nothing to react to meaning you have to just guess and 50/50 it which feels horrible. Not only that, but on top of all that they can still M1… that makes it so you have to guess a 50/50 on something they might not even do and if they don't then they can just M1 you with the distance you lost trying to dodge a possible M2 leaving so many lose lose scenarios. They even lessened the slowdown penalty it had for missing in the PTB before releasing it to live servers which means on top of ALL THAT, if the xenomorph misses a hit with M2 they barely get punished for it and can keep going like it never happened.
It feels so disingenuous to claim people are complaining about it having anti chase only to then ignore EVERYTHING people are actually saying as to why they have an issue with it when some of the points they make are valid. Xenomorph has almost no downside to his ranged attacks like other killers do and the one thing that's SUPPOSED to act as a counter (the turrets) don't even counter it unless you play horribly inefficient with them leaving certain areas of the map with no protection.

The issue isn't with the tail attack its with the turrets, people tend to put turrets near the entrances to tunnels wasting the turret, I've found success in putting turrets near loops instead, the aliens power is almost completely in the survivors hand its just shes a bit overtuned from ptb all she needs to do is walk around in a tunnel for a few seconds and she gets her power back, alongside the green helmet addon turrets don't stagger enough, a few number tweaks and she'll be perfectly balanced there is no need to nerf her already when she's not a problem maybe if survivors took off made for this and learned to loop we wouldn't be having this debate to this scale.
idk why people act surprised lol. I like to think of it like oni in a way because aliens power can be oppressive but you have to be good at landing shots and the survivors get punished for not using flame turrets. so they are forced to either keep up with turrets or face a strong chase tool.

They don't hate alien…… They hate whatever killer they lose to regularly – aka whichever one is most popular atm.. Just so happens to be alien right now. For the last year its been wesker

Idk I wouldn’t say the other killers are as bad as this one. The turrets are few and one time they stayed on all 4 after being blasted by 2 thrower. And his crawl attack where he jumps has weird hotboxes from sideways backwards

I usually agree with you in your videos but I think you missed the entire point people are making about this killer
Alien to play as is a lot of fun can't deny that at all, but Mr headace I don't think you've listened to the concerns survivers have.
Take huntress, for example, give her instant hatchet with no notification plus a speed boost and still gets bloodlust wile using hatchet. 😂 I would play the shit out of huntress if this was put in to dbd.
Let's face it though it wouldn't be fair to survivers at all. Surviver/killer mains would all agree as well. Seriously though this massive buff to huntress would mimic alian almost perfectly. Reloading hatchets from lockers is about the same time the torrent take from alian, plus the hatchets can keep pressure on the other side of the map (with the right perks and skill). We're alian can use the tunnels which you don't really need the perks because you get info in the tunnel. The skill required is basically non. So alian probably still be stronger. 😂
Both Alien skills feel unearned, its map movility and its special power, it should have one no both. I havent escaped from a single Alien yet.
