If I've taken away anything from this video, it's that I definitely wanna hear any scrapped ideas of your replacement names for MFT that didn't make it into the video 😂
I think it should be an anti tunnel perk so my idea is when you are unhooked this perk activates you have a 4% haste bonus for 70/80/90 sec everytime you safe unhooks someone while this perk is active you gain 20 sec on the timer
If no other survivor has been hooked by the time you reach second stage the haste is increased to 6% this perk deactivates when the exits are powered
MFT was obnoxiously poor design. 3% is huge, especially when it's basically free and never goes away unless you want it to.
Dear BHVR- STOP SCREWING WITH MOVEMENT SPEEDS! You're creating a freaking haste perk arms race and it will destroy the little bit of 'balance' you've worked so hard for. Rapid Brutality Clown will exist in 10 days, and people are unprepared for that BS. Wait and see. If you carry on in this manner, several killers will be gutted just because of the few haste perks that break them entirely, and once you finally realize that the movement speeds are the problem it will likely take you YEARS to put them back to where they were. Haste needs a cap, it needs to be limited in duration, and it absolutely needs to not stack.

I feel like the way DBD handles numbers makes it difficult to understand just how powerful perks and add ons are. If a Survivor moves 100% and a Killer moves 115%, that means the only tangible difference in speed is that 15%. So people turn their nose up at 2 or 3% saying it's not that big of a deal, but fail to realize that 3/15 is a 20% boost relative to killer speed. There are plenty of other add ons in the game (like recharge add ons) that also are almost impossible to understand because the numbers are held against raw game mechanics instead of being relative to the actual effective boost you see in game. I think if tomorrow they updated the numbers and MFT and Hope read 20% and 45% haste we'd be having a very different conversation.

yeah. The Killer Perk only lasting for 10 seconds really confused me.
Made for This is just Permanent and the Killer Version of it only lasts for 10 seconds but has a bigger Speed Boost.
The Problem is just that (as far as i know) It activates after you injure a Survivor, so you will have your Weapon Cooldown and they will have their Speed Boost. Which Basically takes away a lot of its Effect.
Meanwhile MFT lasts as long as you are injured.

Not to turn this comment into an "us vs them" but imagine if MFT was a killer perk, perma 3% speedboost after a survivor is injured and they stay injured (which a lot of them do) youd have survivor mains crying out to nerf the perk immediately. >.>
But because its a survivor perk, it's "perfectly fine and killers have to learn to play arround it." 😅

Yeah i had a bubba game on the crow map and player had setup dark theory with mft and hope. I lost chase with her twice going around the building. I was so mad. 12% total increase so a 115% killer vs 112% survivor that can fast fault through windows it was really unfair imo. The stacking of the haste effects is a real problem. Thanks for making this video as more light needs to be shared until it's fixed.
my gripe with gabe's perks in general is that he had 5 perks in 3 essentially, though the one that matters most is MFT because it's a nice speed boost perk AND it's a medic perk for no real reason you're essentially equipping two perks in one slot at that point. Also, the speedboost alone I feel isn't as much as an issue as the speed boost in tandem with OTHER speedboosts. Hope is the go-to many people have, but as good as that is, you're only getting that in end-game. Still, just getting faster just for the price of the killer doing their job is a bit of a kick in the pants. If they want to make the perk more medic-like, they could have the haste trigger when someone else is injured, and only last for, like, a certain amount of time. I dunno, and I'm sure bhvr doesn't either.

Placing the boon Dark Theory at a looping spot is stupidly broken along with the stacking of Made For This. So, if you mind game the Killer for a good time(unless they are good mind gaming too and will not miss) you can keep the Killer very busy over 2-3 gens done while being chase or all gens done if you are good at juking too.

I just can't wait to farm salt in the next update when I teleport on them as singularity with +10% haste while they are exhausted from o2 tank so they can't even use mft
Survivors are also so dumb and can't see 5 seconds into the future, that they don't understand that if this kind of thing keeps up, the only killers they will be seeing will be blights and nurses who dgaf about mft.
It's like when survivors tbag and bm low-tier killers, but then when that killer switches to nurse and kills them all at 5 gens, they whine and cry about it. They don't have the mental capacity to understand that they are one who caused it.

I'm probably the only one that will stay on this hill but MFT's speed boost is fine. It shouldn't stack though, nor should it give endurance. That stuff IS broken & should be addressed. But considering blood lust is the built in counter to MFT, it's fine.
Also to note; I do not run MFT. I find it a pointless perk that offers nothing to my build. I am not arguing it is fine because I love the perk lol. I will also add I never see it in my lobbies.
