  1. Silly coconut. All perks and match making are perfectly balanced, you see. When you go again people massively under your skill level 45% of the time and people massively over 45% of the time and people your own skill 10% of the time you win about 50% of your matches regardless of perks! See? Perfect balance ~<3

  2. I've studied statistics and I can say you are spot on. It is pretty obvious from Almo's methodology of the "study" on Hillbilly's nerf that it was biased toward the conclusion he is accepting. They absolutely should be cross-referencing the top % of killers vs survivors. They should also cross-reference perk builds, maps, and any other data (like hit with and without a chainsaw) to see if it's a specific set of perks that is causing the killer to be stronger. Because you don't just need to know Billy has to be nerfed, you should know what you're going to be nerfing and why. It seems like instead when they approach a nerf re-work that it's based purely on a select set of things that will drastically cause the killer to underperform in all future circumstances (or raising the skill cap considerably), rather than only nerfing the components of the killer's power that makes him overpowered in the first place. I really wish I worked for BHVR on this stuff

  3. Based on the gameplay you just showed, I doubt Almo would ever win (by win I mean at least 3k) against a strong swf, even with the best add-ons and perks on any given killer.

If you're gonna judge only the top 1% killers, then you need to do the same for survivors.

It's like balancing a MOBA off of the pro players playing against the average player. How TF do you think it's gonna turn out?

  4. my hopes are who knows where. this game is becoming EA game. grinding to the death. expensive cosmetics, alarming lootboxes, gen rush and so on. until people stop giving them money. there will be no changes at all.

  5. I agree with the breakable walls, I and I'm sure many others thought they was there to fix the old "infinites" not create new ones. The one on the Macmillan map, I forget what it's called but it's shaped like a dumbbell. The breakable wall on that old infinite is a good one, I'd rather it just be a door but still better than nothing

  6. Agree with everything, apart from the match making. I mean yeah you should be playing with people the same or more skill, this game however doesn't balance for that and to balance for that, they would have to revert a lot of the killer nerfs and I can't see them doing that. While it would be more fair playing against Survivors at the same level it would get boring pretty quick as killer when you have to sweat your ass off every single game or use every gen defence available.

  7. I want Almo to play just one game against comms equipped thai swf players who bring corn offering and object of obsession, key and bottle time with rest slots filled with second chances.

I want to see his reaction when they tell him it was a fair game. Then he might understand my pain.

  8. Ive been watching dbd streams for years now and just started playing myself. Ive learned a lot by watching and it has helped me so much in my games and made it easier for me to handle the straight up joke that is called match making in the game. I have friends that started playing at the same time as me, that dont play anymore because getting instantly killed or having survivors run circles around you isnt fun at all. I cant even count how many times ive come across red rank 4 man swf as im trying to learn how to play killer, it wasnt unusuall to get those lobbys even back when i was rank 16. I love a nice challenging game, so i can learn. But thats just ridiculous.

  9. I am on the verge of giving up on DbD, Its no longer fun for me anymore. Why should I play a 10 minute long match filled with stress and frustration? Why do I have to grind out insane hours just to have fun with 1 Killer/Survivor out of the 22/24? How many perks do I have to go through, bloodwebs to finish out, and millions of bloodpoints do I have to grind? Why is the game's balance design usually tilted in a frustrating, obvious way? Why don't the devs just listen to the players?

And don't get me started on the choices I have to go through just to "have fun". Do I really want to be bullied because I want to play a certain, favorite Killer like Ghostie/Myers? Or do I have to play uninteresting, boring Killers to ease the grind like Doctor/Bubba? Do I really have to be stuck waiting for the shrine to bring anything good? Do I really want to grind 35-50 hours JUST TO GET 1 CHARACTER OUT OF 31???

Why am I wasting time at this point? If I wanna have fun, I'll just boot up a Yakuza game or a Souls-like. Heck, If I really wanted to play what I have fun with the most, stealth, I'll just boot up Dishonored. Wanna have some fun with the bois? Oh boy, oh boy how many choice do I have to pick from and choose? If I really wanna grind out in a game, might as well grind out something less tedious, like a godroll in Borderlands, or just go back to Warframe, at least that game is more polished than whatever DbD will ever dream to be.
