About Dead by Daylight:
Dead by Daylight is an asymmetrical multiplayer horror game where one player takes on the role of a brutal Killer and the other four play as Survivors. As a Killer, your goal is to sacrifice as many Survivors as possible. As a Survivor, your goal is to escape and avoid being caught and killed.

  1. I’d like solo to have at least some coordination as a swf does, so just an option above/next to survivor icon so you can just say “I’m on gen” or “im going for unhook” and then you could also buff some weaker killers as compensation

  2. I would increase bloodpoint rewards, especially for survivors. I feel like the bloodpoint gains made form BBQ and WGLF could be the base rewards. But survivors for sure need more bloodpoints. I've had games where the killer chased me for all 5 gens, I escaped, and walked away with less than 10,000 points.

  3. Definitely some type of ping system is needed. When I used to play Friday the 13th that game had a walkie talkie system. 1st you had to find the talkie then you could communicate with the other counselors. However if Jason was around he could hear you on the talkie which was totally fair because IRL a killer is going to hear you on your phone.

  4. I would like to see, "Perk Loadouts" in the Game. I am tired that i have to change pages and waste my time to find the perk i need for a build, and when I want to make another one, I have to do the same progress over again. Also having a "Search Bar" to type down the perk name. This is the only game that doesnt have that mechanic and we've seen tons of other online games having that, possibly from the very start of their launch.

  5. The new matchmaking is really unhealthy for the game. It encourages bad behavior from both survivor and killer. Survivors are encouraged to be selfish and killers are rewarded just for kills. So it rewards camping and tunneling.

  6. @MrGimms you might as well remember just like me the comment from Peanits about sbmm?
About how many difficult algorithms it used and it be to hard to explain and to understand?
Damn if they find it hard to tell that it only counts kills and escapes as a win then i don't even want to know when they go even further with that 😱
Id rather see it go than that they keep it tbh

  7. So here’s my experience with SBMM, I’m a casual player I don’t really go for being the highest rank or anything. I play sooo survivor I get in a lobby with players who match my rank. But when I play killer I get in lobbies with players who are so high above my rank…been going on since it was implemented in the game

  8. 8:15 this ping idea you can incorperate quite well but i have a idea to add some exstra demension's that perks that make you have blindness/oblivous should make it where you dont get other survivor's ping and could in a way exspand the killer meta a little bit from just gen slowdown and give more reason to use those other perks

  9. The grade and MMR system are just there to cover up the other big problem you mentioned – how it matches high skill and playtime players with newer players.
You heard it in the Q and A, now they can just say ‘Grade doesn’t represent skill and isn’t used for matchmaking’ while using the ‘hidden value’ they talk about for MMR and we have to trust that we’re getting fair games.
It’s as if they don’t see the problem matching my grade Ash 2 killer up against a full team of Iridescent 1 survivors with matching names because in their world experience doesn’t give any advantage.
Like they play and win enough each reset to hit max grade but somehow are fair game for someone who has either barely played any matches or has lost so many that the grade is so low still so close to reset.

  10. I feel like the Entity in the lore would hate genrushers, so I'd make Genlock basekit and rework the perk. Actually, now I think about it, quite a few killer perks could be made basekit (or a weakened verison) for game balance. Old ruin, Pop, Rancor (at least the ping effect when gens pop)… there are perks whose effects wouldn't be game breaking but would at least give the killer something so they don't get genrushed. I've just had games where they're over in 5 minutes, despite anything I could do. It just makes the experience boring from a killer's side, and way too easy for survivors.

When I play survivor, I want the games to be tense, engaging, not just M1 when not in a chase. I feel like the killer role is what the survivor role should be feeling, tbh.
