Tru3 I believe the game is too survivor sided rn and miss how the maps looked darker before, gave more horror feeling
you should have given her your med kit at the end.
Been so long since I played this game, thinking about coming back to it not sure tho
I like to treat people who kobe in front of you with their own medicine, and let them go to 2nd stage before unhooking them. Sure, there are those wise words "An eye for an eye and the world goes blind" and it's hard to argue with that. On the other hand, you wont be going around doing that to everyone, just the people that deserve it.
A guilty criminal needs to be punished, and is sent out to jail, either sentenced to X amount of years in prison or perhaps death row, depending on the country, severity of the crime and time it took place. This really isn't any different in my opinion.
i think this game is proof that survivors > killer….2 escaped in a 3v1 solo survivor game against a capable nurse, thats a win from the survivors' perspective…. the caveat here is that each survivor in the team must be at a decent skill level… good teammates provide good chances of escaping, even as a solo survivor…. survivors get killed because of bad teammates, not because "killer is OP or unfun"….
so casual survivor mains, please stop asking for killer nerfs, the game is already survivor sided…. please get better at the game, so that you become better teammates for your team….
Why do people "tap" generators? I don't get it
I think it was Tofu, or another streamer that promoted Spies on Nurse. She had Infectious, and Spies, and BBQ. She was really going for pinpoint information, and with her ability to close distance nearly instantly, she's one that can uniquely get more value from spies and infectious. Now, if she actually had blood warden, i would have said gg. You have the most balls of any nurse ive seen.
People had started consistently trying to 4% as I was running to them in my games out of nowhere. Went from never seeing seeing it to once every second game. I just stopped saving if they did it. Gave them a teabag or a point and ran off.
Personally I don't like you always talking about how survivor sided this game is, it feels manipulative. This 3v1 against a nurse was very killer sided, but you played very well while she was messing up her chases big time. This only shows that an awful playing killer can sometimes not win a 3v1.
I would also like to give you my opinion on this. Statistically, DbD is killer sided, that's a fact. You often say the survivor objective is to do gens, so one gen equals 20% of the objective while one kill is 25%. That's false. Survivors objective is to escape, doing all gens is not everything. If the killer has 1 kill at 2 or 3 gens left, the result is most likely a 4k. If the killer has 1 kill if all gens are done, the result is most likely a 2k. If the killer has noed and the survivor are messing up, it is a 3k or better, and noed is very popular this days. If you as a killer play for kills over hooks, it is very easy to get them. Just tunnel one person out of the game, and use noed to get a second kill. If the survivor mess up at any point, it is a 3 or 4k. But you will always get a 2k unless you mess up big time. If I play survivor it is a 50/50 if I escape, usually it is rare if the killer is tryharding for kills and more often if he plays in a more fun way for hooks. Broken add ons also make a big difference. If I play Legion I win 70% of the time, with Nurse about 90%, and I'm playing for hooks while barely using add ons. In public games it is in my opinion easier to win with killer. (This is for more then 99% of the player base. I have 1,7k hours.)
In a competetive set up (with competetive rules) or at very high MMR, this game becomes survivor sided, unless you play Nurse, Blight or the old Spirit, then both sides have a good chance of winning. Perks, maps, and add ons mess up the balance for both sides a lot, this is why in comp there are rules to make the balance more consistent. Survivor are overperforming against all non S-Tier killers, and even they are struggeling. If a nurse get's a 4k at this MMR, it is because she hits every blink and has insanely short chase times. This is because the skill cap for survivor is higher then for most killers. So at some high skill level most killers are limited while the survivor team still can improve. (This is less then 1% of the playerbase.)
To fix this balance issue, buffing killers is the wrong way, because in normal games the killer would over perform even more. You need to somehow limit the skill cap for survivors while not afffecting average high rank survivors. But then killers like Nurse would over perform. I don't have an easy solution for this, but it has to be many small and very smart changes, not buffing killer in general.
