Hey everyone, today I thought we’d look back into Dead by Daylight’s past and discuss some of the most controversial changes or updates that have happened. Let’s get into it. I’m not going to be able to cover every single controversial change in this video, because uh, there’s been a lot.

Chapter XXI is a Hellraiser one! The PTB is currently out and features the new killer, The Cenobite, or Pinhead. This is, however, the only content that seems to be releasing with the chapter.

  1. What about Nurse and the change to her base kit?
    Imo that was also controversial. Most players were fine with nerfing multiple blinks and removing Omega blink but the changes to her base kit was a different story.

  2. I'm no Hillbilly main, but I tried playing him semi-recently and it's very hard to learn a killer power if you can cause yourself to lose it. I may or may not have missed several chainsaws in quick succession and overheated. I just found it discouraging to use because I was trying to figure out how to curve or feather it around a pallet even if I missed, but then I just ended up becoming an M1 killer again.

  4. I one of people that liked Billy change. In numbers – his basic kit was greatly improved. And overheat is not a bad thing untill you start play DIRTY. So all this change did – it throw off bad Billy players off and imroved his skill related sides. And by how many billy mains left him, we can see that alot of Hillbilly "MAINS" were playing dirty and abusing the hell out of him. Well – too bad for them

  5. You hit the nail on the head with the "The devs just doing what they want" part of your statement. A lot of the time I feel like the devs rarely listen to their community and it's been extremely frustrating, to say the least.

  6. There was an update on mobile a few days back, anyway I noticed how hillbilly’s chainsaw is a lot more controllable, I feel like what they should have done at the start was have the chainsaw overheat feature, but also make it so the player can control the movement in a sprint

  7. "why would anyone want mmr"
    well because i dont want to play killer and face survivors that have a thousand hours in the game and are significantly better than me, who started playing two weeks ago
    oh wait
    that still happened
    so mmr doesn't even work properly at all
    i feel like ranks/skill should be determined by how well survivors repair gens, cleanse totems, evade killer swings and dehook other survivors, while killers should rank up for efficiently chasing and hitting survivors while also managing to keep others from repairing too much. it's vary vague, yes, but its something i guess..
