THE DREDGE IS S TIER!! INSANELY STRONG NEW KILLER! | Dead by Daylight

The Dredge is SO STRONG and heres why.

Map pressure = S TIER
Stealth = S TIER
Anti-loop = S TIER

You can just teleport during a loop to force a survivor to leave the tile… if they leave then theres a chance they go past a locker.
You win either way LOL
Enjoy some dredge gameplay!!

  1. I don't think Dredge will be a S tier killer, even after his nightfall bugs are fixed. He's incredibly strong, but his time to down is inherently slower than Nurse and Blight. Yes he can completely counter loops but so can Pyramid Head and Pyramid Head isn't S tier. Granted Dredge has mobility and he can sometimes use that mobility to counter survivors holding w, but I just don't think that makes him strong enough to be compared with the best of the best. I think he will be a B+/A killer. Argument for A+ maybe.

  2. Because nightfall is bugged and its technically "nerfed" until they fix it, the only nerfs I could see feasible for it is either causing lockers to be destroyed when it has to break them open or locks respawn after every nightfall.

  3. I think the Plaything/Pentimento combo would be great on this killer. If you wait to try and get all 5 stacks, you might actually be able to do it with the way he can teleport around the map.

  4. I don't think the nightfall is as good as you relize he is very very loud while in it not only that but the direction of his sound his very obvious aswell making easier to pin point in a tall loop than other killers once survivors relize this I think it'll become alot harder to get stealth value from him I still think he's strong I just wish nightfall was a bit better

  5. tbh this killer is a better version of The Onryo AND has anti loop 💀

He's, like 100 times better than her at EVERYTHING he does (except the stealth)

  6. I personally think this killer is at the top of A tier or at the bottom of S tier. Based on what I've seen and what I'm seeing in my head, it's anti-loop is very counterable which is good, but it still isn't enough. The nightfall is good because of undetectable and the teleporting is also insanely good. The only reason I don't see it being S-tier is because of how counterable his anti-loop power is.

Def better than Sadako, that's a fact 💯

  7. So a better Onryo/Demogorgan teleport, a better Freddy Nightmare realm power, a Spirit that can teleport to their husk, looks to be an average speed killer unlike our chonky bois (Clown, Deathslinger RIP)…

I love playing Killer (mainly because I have no friends or anyone to play Survivor with), but isn't this the definition of overtune? When I started, the Killers that started to come out were Nemesis, Pinhead, Artist, Onryo.

When it came to their powers and such, reading them seemed filled to the brim but gameplay made me go "Yeah, okay, that doesn't seem too bad".

Now seeing The Dredge (that name but they're not a pirate with a big ass barnacle-covered anchor?) after reading their power with all kinds of gameplay, it seems like this is Behavior's way of dumping content for those the worship The Entity and saying "There, now the game is no longer Survivor-sided. Hurry up and get t-bagged while dealing with the 4 smug bastards at the end of the game. Now if you excuse us, we'll go nerf The Pig."

  8. He isn't S tier, but he's solid.

He can shut down single loops pretty hard with a remnant, but his power is almost completely ineffective when you have two connected tiles, since his slow speed while holding a remnant forces him to drop it if they hold W to a different tile.

  9. When you say S tier, you are saying it is one of the best choices in every situation and every map. I think you are going to find that there are certain maps that the dredge will struggle with. His remnant teleport also has counter-play much like you would with the artist. High A tier at best.

  10. Your comparing him to nurse and blight. Nurse and blight can end chases very quickly. Blight also has that insane transport that dredge kinda has but is very fast in loops. Compared to other A tiers like artist pyramid he seems stronger than both.

  11. I actually feel like he's the first killer that has all the mechanics to deal with top tier meta survivors, nothing on him feels stupidly broken, he just has so many tools but none of those tools on their own are over powered and smart survivors can attempt to mind game them individually. Just a really strong but fairest strong killer they have made.

Edit: And when I say the first killer that can deal with super good swf, I mean without having anti fun op mechanics.
