  1. Since the update, I've been unintentionally tunneling unhooked survivors, for some reason, survivors unhook in my face then sprint burst away leaving the unhooked person to fend for themself

  2. As a solo q player .. I am mourning the reassurance .. I am tired of my team giving up and die on hook to a camping killer because there is no point in staying ..
    or finding all my party slugged trying to trade hooks .. I was hoping reassurance stay as is .. and killers get bored waiting on a hook for a min+ .. so they change their play style ..
    this change doesn't make it anything .. also, unless a swf .. how often will we find reassurance in solo qs .. v-v .. twice? 60 min .. which means nothing in term of gen .. so we will be going through 3 gens for a hook = death .. assuming the player won't let go .. but if they did .. we will end up with almost 2ks vs camping killers .. and 2 survivors hardly having any points because of it.

  3. I love what OHTOFU said about tunneling and camping: "Someone brand new to the game who just starts playing killer shouldn't come to the conclusion on their own after just a few games that tunneling and camping is the best strategy."

  4. Why don't they make it if a killer is around a hooked survivor the timer is paused and when a survivor comes off the hook for the next 60 seconds they have no collision and the killer cannot hit them. This goes away if the survivor does a conspicuous action and it deactivates in endgame.

  5. These changes are good, but I still have only a couple things on my wishlist for changes:
    1: ~30% Faster basekit unhooking speed. Unhooking against a STBFL killer can be impossible: you don't even have enough time to trade. It's also harder in general with the killer's basekit 10% faster hit cooldown.
    2: I wish unhooking action to not freeze you totally in place (right now, once the unhook animation is completed, there's ~1 second where you and the unhooked survivor just stand still staring at eachother. I want both survivors to be able to move or start healing right away after the unhooked survivor's feet touch the ground).
    3: No more killers grabbing a Healthy survivor out of an unhook animation.
    4: (As a bit of an afterthought) No more 99'ing an exit gate switch, to encourage more of those daring last minute games while the timer ticks down. Make it regress to the next lowest a 'checkpoint' of 25% / 50% / 75%, as each red light turns on (if you 99 a switch it SLOWLY, ~over 30 seconds, regresses to 75%). Bringing a perk like Wake Up could slow down this regression to give some flexibility and uncertainty in game.

    There are other things I'd like that would be nicer than this, but I hope that all 4 of these could reasonably show up in a single dev update in the future.

  6. Wesker changes, awesome, he needed them, and he's not busted so it all works out.
    Base BT where it should be now, good change, should still be base game camping nerfs though.
    Cost reduction in the bloodwebs is awesome.
    I'm honestly most about about pallet reduction in RPD, 2 god pallets in the lobby?! Too much, so hopefully there is enough for survivors but the killer doesn't spend the whole game breaking pallets.
    Also, of course, perk changes not so great, Nurse blink hits need to be special attacks and honestly that fixes a lot of her busted issues.

  7. Low Profile is way worse now. If you are the only person that hasn't been hooked yet you should get the attention for yourself instead of your teammates. I fell like this will kill solo q even more with selfish plays… maybe… wtf do I know right?

  8. Everything cost less bloodpoints now? Fuck! Now I have to keep clicking on the bloodweb even more, god damn it. I'm tired of clicking the bloodweb 1 reward at a time everytime. I've been playing this game for 6 years. At least make us be able to have other option like choosing between 3 deck of cards with many rewards in it. Reward spending with One click alot better.

    I'd rather watch youtube on my phone while waiting for the next match than spending bloodpoint on bloodweb. It's like a chore now.

  9. I have never been the best at killer but as a casual player I am looking forward to wesker but I don’t know if I will be good with him due to what I’ve heard. Should I be worried?

  10. Most of the new changes are great and long overdue, I might actually play DBD consistently now. BHVR is actually making good changes now that there is actual competition, hopefully more reworks as well

  11. I think they are making mettle of men to strong since it is no longer an endurance thing they can go around and stack it with other endurence effects / dead hard no?

  12. Soo unbalanced this update, literally nurfing weskers perk because of Two extra seconds of aura reading,and giving survivors an extra 5 seconds of invincibility plus mettle of man plus extra 90 seconds to get unhooked, gonna be playing alot more survivor now.

  13. Me big brain me fix reassurance.

    Make it so that it only works if the killer is within a certain distance of hook.
    Example: Within 8 meter of a hooked survivor and If killer is 6/12/18 meters reassurance add 30 seconds to hook state 40 second cooldown.

    This will force the killer to move away from the hook or stay camping and lose generators or to focus on the other survivors.

  14. Dude cheap bloodweb sounds dope. I hate spending millions on my prestige levels and I'm sure all these 1-2K BP cost decreases are going to help out a lot in the long run

  15. You overexaggerated the nerf to reassurance by saying they "gutted" it. A main reason they nerfed it was because survivors could literally troll other survivors, essentially taking them hostage.

  16. Easiest way to help remove camping and tunneling, increase the 1v4 instead of the 1v1. 1v1 = good chase 1v4 = killers leaving hooks more because they have a larger impact across the map/board.

  17. The fact these devs don't know their game very well, they feel the RPD wing has too many pallets but feel Gideon Meat Plant doesn't? I can get behind boosting the haste after getting unhooked but boosting the endurance effect on top of it? The built in kit is legit turning into the original BT lol

Yo, I think nurse should be reworked so that instead of teleporting, she receives a certain number of uses that allow her to phase through solid structures (not applicable on pallet stun, but does apply to windows) at a reduced movement speed or something while having slightly obscured vision. That way she's still insane at anti-loop in the right hands, but not downing 2 survivors less than a minute apart since she has been forced to chase, like every other killer with feet. I'm just high though. Don't take me too serious. 💀

  19. As someone rooting for better than new I hope it gets abit more to be unique.. I think it’s in a competition with leader currently as it’s just worse statistically but has a different activation requirement. I hope they return to the gen idea and revise it as 3/4/5% gen speed and 10/15/20% to other speeds.
