It could go very well or very poorly. It very much depends on the Tyrant chosen. Mr.X or Birkin are really the best choices. They cant implement Nemesis

i’ll say this every time i see people talk about this. there’s no way this will happen, capcom has a game like DBD with another online player vs player releasing in a month. why would they metaphorically kill their own DBD clone to aid the original? it makes no sense
I’d like to guess that maybe DBD may wait on a Resident Evil chapter to look into the Lady of the House in Resident Evil Village. I don’t know about you, but if she seems as powerful as she is in the trailers, it’d be pretty rad to have a killer called “The Vampire”. Also imagine how quickly the company would jump on the chance to advertise their new game like this.

Personally i would think krozer from RE4. Hitting people with his knife then transforming into a monster with a arm turned large blade. Ashley maybe as a survivor but could be a bad call for her

I respectfully disagree with your stance on The Nemesis, I mean you are 100 percent correct, but I believe perspective is important in this instance, the Nemesis and all B.O.W.S made are all an extension of Umbrella, they show the company's complete lack of morality or restraint in their pursuit of money and power. The Nemesis is the evil of Umbrella made flesh, a creature not made to live but only kill, and answer to a higher power, just like the killers within the entity's realm. In short, Nemesis is not compelling by itself but rather it reflects the standing of the one's that created it. And what happens when man tries to play God (Basically the same lesson of Jurassic Park). I know it will never be as thought provoking as Silent Hills monstrosities but I believe there was a take away nevertheless. Good video BTW.

I would want Leon Claire and Mr X
I've always been a fan of Resident Evil but even I think it shouldn't be in DbD, that being said I do have a few ideas. I do think a chapter for Resident Evil could work if they don't limit themselves to the main cast. There are plenty of characters in older games that could be implemented well. Luis Sera, Ashley Graham, and Verdugo from RE4 could be an interesting way of continuing those characters stories. I also think that basing it on the Outbreak series would give them much more freedom, the game has a solid and diverse cast that could fit the legendary skin system perfectly and the Leech Man would be a terrifying killer that possibly consumes the bodies of survivors. My only other suggestion would be Leon and Ada as survivors and maybe Jack Krauser or "The Big Cheese". Great video, well thought out!
I honestly think Leon and Claire are also a cool duo release cuz they were in racoon city on the first day of it the job and looking for someone
I definitely would want Jack Baker tho if you ask me Ethan would be a better candidate for survivor. Plus if people really want Mr.x, Nemesis, or etc then they can make Legendary comestics and hell if they can try and voice/audio form other characters for Survivor and killer cosmetics.
This was so detailed, I might actually try and make my own Jack Paragraph if DBD does have an RE chapter but doesn't use Jack, but now this really makes me what to know what you think would be involved in a Child's Play chapter, what could be done with either version of Chucky.

Not gonna lie, I thought you would say it would be Lucas Baker? But this is as good if not better
I was born around when Resident Evil 2 was released, so I grew up with that franchise. I do miss the rivalry of Capcom/Konami, both Resident Evil or Biohazard versus Silent Hill were perfect opposites of each other.
Science vs Religion
Action vs Exploration
Discovery vs Symbolism
All Survival Horror to keep these two intertwined.
I feel a Resident Evil chapter would be most welcomed, and never once did I think of Jack Baker as the Killer. That might fit perfectly, I feel Jack could have done more as the Pursuir of RE7, where Tyrant set the bar high in RE2 and Nemesis took a more action approach in RE3. Jack was the return to Resident Evil, and carries more personality over the other two Tyrants. Great idea, and a great video!
Leon is the #1 pick for me if I had a choice.

I'm over here wanting Bioshock to get a chapter. A Rapture map would be such a fantastic addition. Plus, big daddy killer, potentially Tenenbaum as a survivor
I think it would be cool if we got more than 1 killer from the same franchise. Even more maps. For example it would be cool to see a new Silent Hill chapter that has James as the survivor and a new map with a Nurse killer.
Yeah, Baker fits the most lore wise (a close second for me would be Birkin, perhaps his gimmick being his weird face hugger mutants) bit imo maybe its just because of the games there in but I feel like Chris and Jill don't capture the well horror of re, I feel like a more ground levelish everyman protag like Leon clare or Ethan would represent it more then the wall of muscle and bullets that are thr og protags

I’m probably one of the few people who actually love jack baker as a villain
I’d either go with jack baker, or some sort of hunter/licker. I feel like those two bows would lend themselves to certain gimmicks and abilities. I know, probably silly. But I think they would fit much easier than most tyrants.
Edit: also, if jack baker was the killer chosen, wouldn’t that make the survivors Ethan and Mia?

Capcom also have the Haunting Ground and Clock Tower rights… I could love a chapter about that more for DBD

While I agree that Jack is a better character than Mr X and Nemesis, I don't see how that has any impact on who is the better choice.
Jack's power would be no more unique than Nemesis', as both become mutated from the virus as they are damaged. Not to mention the other tools Nemesis uses, notably the flamethrower. A small animation of Nemesis crouching under doorways could easily solve the size issue too.
I think Jack is a good choice, but he doesn't capture the feeling of RE as much as Nemesis, and we know BHVR are more likely to go for the iconic character who will bring more money.

Bruh nemesis has tentacles. It’s his main thing. Almost all killing animations of nemesis is tentacles. In the beginning when he didn’t had rocket launcher.
Jack could give us voice acting.
Dude his lines are so creepy and would fit Well with dbd. About the map Proplem, we could have a new realm with 3 maps. One on release, two more in the midchapter If they don't get it done at First.
