With the New Anti Camp Mechanic being introduced, survivors will be able to kobe off hook if a killer is near the hook for a certain amount of time. While this is a good counter to killers that purposley face camp to troll/annoy survivors it can also hurt killers during specefic in game scenarios. In this match you will get to see exactly what I’m talking about. I hope you enjoy the video and thanks for watching (:

  2. I think the anti camp wont be too bad (if they fix no brainers like midwich and stuff. the Key imo is to camp at 16m so u have a bit of pressure, patrolling the hook and as soon as they move in, you move in too, couse thats when the timer stops.

(edit: i totally agree with ur opinion on the anti camp mechanic. it was ment to stop facecamp but bubba can still do it, most of the time it gets u tunneled out asap. mostly it is plain skill issue by survs. if a killer truely facecamps survs can gen rush and 3 man out aka survs win. i dont mind being face camped couse dbd is a team game. i dont care "taking 1 for the team" if it helps my team to win)

  3. I'm curious if the survivors would have even been able to self unhook in this situation with the new changes. The only testing I saw on the PTB was when the killer was right next to the hook. Additionally being at a different elevation might have an impact.

In this game specifically you were chasing the James and Yui a bit while Nea was on hook and in general you were proxy camping the basement. Proxy camping should counter survivors being able to self unhook.

  4. Biggest issue is gonna be on maps with two floors. I can be chasing someone on the first floor near a hook and then they get a free unhook even though I’m not in front of them

  5. You can play just how you did and nothing will happen you left basement and the survivors bombed basement hook injured so even if meter started to rise it would go back down because the survivors were near

  6. No camping and half the roster takes an hour to walk across the map and initiate a chase smh. Then survivors will have made for this and other exhaustion perks to keep you from downing anyone for a long time. Maybe they're trying to balance around two kill games but I don't think that's a satisfying outcome for either side.

  7. The funny thing about the koby off the hook is your average survivor is too stupid to use it correctly. Getting off the hook early means you're going back on it sooner. But this is designed to get whiny twitch streamers to buy more skins, they are going to get rolled anyway. Better players are going to gen pressure effectively, this isnt aimed at them.

  8. Watch the number of killers drop drastically. Then the survivors left complain the game is dead.🤣😂🤣😂🤣 . I cannot wait to see it. I hope there is a mass exodus, and the bhvr be like 😱 oh no . I fact they won't care they'll just hope to rope more dopes into the game. " don't camp" why wouldn't I when I have 2 in basement? Ok I won't camp basement. Take away free hatch when there is 3 dead. Lemmie guess that's not fair right? Gosh I'm gonna lmao when killer count drops.

  9. Survivors are always getting things made easier for them. Haste and endurance on unhook. Icons so they can see what others are doing. What do killers get? Nothing. Drives me crazy. No wonder no one plays killer anymore.

  10. It’s literally the teams fault they died… I play both sides, they made countless mistakes there. That flop ttv can stay salty. Play better, and you’ll survive better. SIMPLE. You played correctly by staying near the anti cleansers and they kept pushing the hook injured while you tried to leave bro lol

  11. IMHO as a survivor main, the anti-camp meter should only count if you are like, inside shack, or maybe with 2m-ish of it, and no other survivor is within 32m (ie. what you were already doing). In this position it's unfair to make you give up this pressure you actually earned playing well (or they gave up playing poorly however you wanna go about it).

  12. If both Yui and Felix had cleansed on the other side of the map and rushed together to basement they would’ve gotten them, but they played that bad. You had an opportunity to take 2 birds with one stone and that’s about it, it was very situational, basement was there and the downs happened there so… they can stay mad for their mistakes 🙂

  13. I feel like the anti camp would be fine if it was vertical detection only, this basement is honestly the fairest version of this, good luck on maps with two levels where you're technically close but not all and they're hooked underneath/on top of you.

  14. This new anti camp feature will wither away the killer player base. over time there will be less killers to go against. Survivor mains are laughing it up right now thinking they got a dub but soon they be crying about match wait times

  15. I think the anti-camp changes can be healthy, it just depends on how they implement them. If they make the deli requirement to be 10m or closer AND on the same floor, plus it immediately goes away once another survivor is within 20m, it would be a great change. Basically, make sure killers don't get free health states, but also make sure dyers don't get free unhooks.

  16. basically with the way it is now in the ptb, you need to be at past the top of the stairs maybe farther. if you are at the top of the stairs they meter will build, but slow enough that they will hit 2nd hook stage then be able to unhook, which is really unfair. i think the way your game played out, maybe even the Yui being around was not close enough to stop the meter and that would have been at least 1 free unhook down their…

  17. I wish they would introduce something where your first hook as killer cannot be sabo'ed or you can't be blinded. Sometimes it's your first hook at 3 gens and survivors can deny you even that but that's perfectly fine.

  18. I honestly don't think the anti-camp feature is necessary at all in today's DBD. Back then? Maybe. But ever since basekit BT, all issues regarding camping are now skill issues, if you ask me.

  19. Full disclosure, mostly play killer. I like the concept, but the execution leaves a bit to be desired. If they were to make the 16 meter radius a circle instead of a sphere for maps with two floors, it would be so much better with that one simple change.
