  2. If each of the 3 watchers is a unique cosmetic like the legion, maybe each will have its own Mori? The naughty bear trapper skin could've been the first test to see if it was possible to develop, the timing lines up well

  3. Im not sure if anyone had the same thing but on azarovs there were blue flashes during the haunted by daylight event it could have been a bug tho. Potential dbd ufo??????

  8. I do not really think they are involved with a killer chapter but just a lore piece for events. But who knows.. They could end up as a killer. Fun fact this idea sounds a lot like an idea I have seen on the forums years ago.. Makes me wonder how much they took from that person's comment and how much they changed to make it more their own. ( Its not the first time and probably wont be the last time they took ideas from the community.. The Artist as well as the Undying Totem where ideas I had came up with. Though they slightly altered the Artist from my original.. But only slightly.. Since originally her whole look would have been more gruesome.. Same with her lore and her name would have been The Host or The Murder Caller. ( Both where kind of hints to her being the host of the crows that are around the fog. Originally in the design they where going to be living inside her body and she was to have several holes throughout her chest/stomach/ect that the crows would go in and out of… Nesting inside and even being created inside of her. Her fate was also a lot more terrible in the lore I had for her.. ( She of course would be a undead being like Rin and Satako. )

    The Knight is also something I kind of came up with but there is enough changed that its hard to call it mine.. Since that was the killer that was originally supposed to have Hex Undying. His powers where also different same for his looks as he was a "Death Knight" .. He would either summon skeletons that would try to grab and slow a survivor down for a short time ( anti-loop mechanic ) or someone a spirit to patrol an area. ( It would go into a specific direction attacking the first survivor they seen.. It was supposed to last for 30 seconds and be usable again in 30 to 60 seconds depending on balance issues. ) His other perks I do not recall if they where used or not.. I do not think they where or if they did they where all renamed.. So this one I would say is different enough.

    I also had a flying killer idea ( as well as a floating killer ) early on ( was my first killer idea ) that they DID try and even mentioned it.. But they felt it was too strong and scrapped it.. They did not bother to look at the floating killer idea at the time.. So no idea if they will ever look back on that kind of idea or not.. Since it did not allow the killer to move when in that mode but it still allowed them to sort of dive-bomb or swoop in to attack/wound a survivor. This killer had a perk I called "Entropy" .. I am fairly sure they did take this one since it was basically the Nurse's perk and it was made before the Nurse was out on the steam forums. I am not sure if that comment is still there anymore due to how far back it is.

    That all said.. I am fairly sure the next chapter is going to be another licensed chapter. Due to DBD leaks.. But who knows for sure.

  9. The Void being related to lore isn't a bad idea, but I think the mechanical effort is more of a tip-off. It was way too ambitious for a single event. The devs have said they always reuse stuff they do, so the mechanics will be used somewhere. Which makes me think the Void was prototyping a killer power. That the killer can throw survivors into a secondary map as a slow-down, and switch between the two two hunt survivors on either map.

  15. Id love to see The Observer to come in as a survivor. The Watchers theory sounds really cool. Ill always love licensed content in DBD but its nice to finally get some original content even tho the last 3 werent that great lol.

  16. I honestly don't know what to say except thank you for using my theory. I've been speculating the chapters of 2024 since September maybe even August. And obviously things are subject to change and I'm just taking guesses on what could really be added but with how everything is lining up, The Watchers and the Observer seem very likely for this upcoming chapter. I'm still in so much shock that my theory was used.

    If Vecna and Drac end up coming into the game, it would mean Jezebel is coming into the game next year, which I can see them holding off on her for now if they do add in these Watchers and the Observer since they're both really big in the lore right now.

  17. I just realized something quite curious: do you see the blob above the water tower in McMillian's map? she changed twice. It was inflated like a balloon when they implemented it in the 2022 Halloween event, then deflated when the asphyxiation pit was redesigned, and since last Halloween event you can see mandibles coming out of it.

    if we refer to the story of these three prisoners, as Gorejira pointed out, it is very very curious that they allowed themselves an evolution of a simple element of decor.
    it's as if this blob was some kind of cocoon and something came out of it
    A clue like the Oni's mask teasing ?

  19. i think the new map would be nice we have seen it before sure but i feel like the new maps have all been VERY cluttered and not just with like obstacles but just visually and audibly so a void like cool color toned map with more phantasmal sounds would be refreshing

  25. You can’t say original chapter & increased sales in the same sentence lol. Bhvr last 4 original chapters have been absolutely terrible & have continued to drop in monthly player counts. Bhvr never learns from their mistakes. Guarantee if this chapter is original it’s going to be another boring anti loop killer that everyone is going to hate & cause another drop in player count
