I just hope the LGBT character is a well-written archetype that serves a good form of LGBT representation and not pointless pandering and virtue signaling.
Someone tried trashing me in comments that killers outfit is not DBD-killer-ish and god awful. I confronted them with elephant and bunny skins we have for clown and legion. They said it was fun made so it was fine.
Yes because the first thing I think of when I think survival horror is "hmmm this needs more lgbtq people"
Approaching this subject is a double edged sword for anyone involved. If bhvr wants to do it, they'll do it. But keep in mind there's been plenty of cases of companies obviously forcing it in for the sheer fact of trying to shamelessly sell and appease to a very vocal minority. There's also plenty of cases where it feels natural and treated as equal as every other orientation or race that's in the game.
What the hell is the aesthetic anymore. Is it supposed to be scary? We players ruined it and the devs acknowledged it and made skins that aren't scary.
I just hope that if they add a LGBTQ+ character that they present the character well, don't use stereotypes and use the right termonlogy, and make a character that fits well into the entities realm.
The only skin that supports your idea is the bubba one. But the thing is, who really cares? I don’t see a problem in a drag queen skins or characters being in the game.
Is the new survivor actually gay tho? I have watched Otz's video where he reads the lore of both the survivor and the killer and somehow I don't remember anything about LGBT. I know behavior said that one of the characters will be gay so I'm a bit confused now.
the game is about people trying to survive a killer. there's no need to add a gay character since literally no one downloaded the game just to read the lore of the character standing up to a "patriarchal white misogynistic homophobic society"
most game developers follow a pattern of just adding a gay character for the sake of pandering to that community so they buy the game. If they're adding for the sake of "expression," no one cares. It doesn't change anything in the real world to take a stance of adding it to a game, because the game was never structured that way
we're talking about sexuality here. It's one thing for genders, but if the narrative of the game has nothing to do with sex or romance, there's no need to add anything catering to sexuality but just fix the damn game
do you want to say that wearing colorful outfits is lgbt?
I would personally enjoy a lgbtq survivor or anything really…maybe a colorblind option too…
Can't argue with what he's saying. XD
That would look ridiculous XD

bruh.
New killer and surv aesthetics look so weird compared to others, that does not fit
ah yes transphobia
acting like theres no gay people in dbd even though freddy main exist smh
I dont see how a LGBT survivor changes anything lmao. All survivors play the Same, I just hope that if they do , the perks are good.
Adding a new character that is LGBT or something is fine, just don't change existing characters…like some others do…
"Something discreet" He says.

That's kind of the point of equality.
Ok but da beat go hard doe 🗣🔊

Jd
The next should be an autistic character. That'd be cool
Alright, anyway…
If you waited you could put in the new characters
They'd fit being a survivor because survivors are wimps 😏
If the new survivor is going to be gay I'm gonna play killer for the rest of my life

As long as the character's well written and blends together naturally from a lore and background perspective, it's good in my eyes.

i really don't care
so LGBT people always has to dress like a drag queen got it!

Bru who tf cares about the sexuality of the character does it affect your gameplay no ppl find anything 2 complain about
As long as their entire lore doesn't revolve around their sexuality or their transition, I'm fine with it
idk how the sexual orientation of a 3d model would impact the gameplay
Who gives a shit
Lmao why they keep talking about this like it effects the gameplay
has an homophobe i dislike
I don't think the devs care about the aesthetics in DbD anymore. I mean, we have a literal clown.
