  1. Thank you for that rant Tofuโ€ฆ I genuinely have the same complaint and wish people would stop DCing. Just stop playing DBD if a certain killer is too much for youโ€ฆ

  2. Eh alch ring, compound 33, blighted crow, and adrenaline vial exist. Crow is multiplicative, multiplying the speed by 6% each rush which actually gives you about mother daughter ring speed insane

  3. Most dcs I see these days happen if someone doesn't want to be the first down. I run deliverance and I only DC if my toddler wakes up. It feels so disrespectful to everyone who waited for that game.

  4. I think it is fair to like a game and hate certain BS in a game. If someone only hard DCs at Nurse, then that is between 93.88%->94.64% of 'real' matches (from the dev stats), and the rest are just bad luck. Even if we were to expand the list to Nurse/Blight/Spirit/Artist (the prime sweatlord unfun match candidates) they still have an ~85% of a 'real' high MMR match. I don't hard DC against those Killers, but I certainly don't care what happens in a match when I brought a heal tome against a Plague. That is just total BS schenanigans and impossible to achieve my 'win' of completing tome progress. I signed up for a fun and fair game, not a slaughter as an NPC in someone's 'story mode' difficulty multiplayer match.

I do see people give up early when they are subject to unfun actions, and I honestly can't blame them when they are the victim of facecamping, hard tunneling off of hook, and 4 minute bleedouts. These are core design problems that still haven't been properly resolved in nearly 6 years. Often times people come off of a bad match and hope the next will be worth their time. When they get PR/DMS then they know that effort was likely in vain, and they are better off quitting for the night.

I honestly think there should be 1 Killer ban per 5 released Killers for Survivors, and Killers can ban either 1 realm per 5 realms released, or 1 map per 5 maps released, with Map offerings maybe overriding. That way all the most personally annoying Killers can be banned, and no one is forced to play against a Nurse. People who are epileptic or vulnerable to strobe effects aren't forced to play against Doctor, and people with emetophobia or recovering from bulimia aren't forced to play against Plague. Also no one wanting to play as a Stealth Killer is forced to tear their face off on Blood Lodge.

  5. I'll DC against any hag. I hate saying it. I just can't handle the jumpscares. I check if their addons stop the jumpscare but if it doesn't… I just can't do it. I feel bad but it is what it is.

  6. If we followed your logic, you probably wouldnโ€™t be able to play dbd to begin with. It would all just be bots on both sides mostly. And letโ€™s be honest. Iโ€™m sure a lot of it happens to be youโ€™re just getting casual players that are just trying to get their tombs or just trying to have a chill game. I understand it fucking sucks. But you canโ€™t really have it both way without your queue times being to long to even bother playing. Complaining about it doesnโ€™t fix it. And the disconnect ban didnโ€™t really stop people from finding other ways to get into another match that for all you know they actually stayed in. Idk man maybe itโ€™s your luck that sucks. Cause when I play I donโ€™t get disconnects or give upโ€™s all that often that I would consider it noticeable

  7. If I get hooked 1st time, after literally saving multiple teammates, and my team doesnโ€™t come save me until I almost die on hook then I go find the killer and give them the free kill to fuck my dog shit teammates

  8. 50 year old man tofu moments

9:06 you see the cheryl go behind a rock next to the gen. Moving left to right, it's hard to spot in video but I happened to be looking there at that moment.
10:38 ok, so surely you weren't looking at your screen at this moment right? tofu i know you have trouble spotting sometimes but JEEEEEEZ man. LMAO

Also, to answer your question, it's so much easier to just go next and play against a killer you have fun against if you have a specific vendetta against that one killer. I know it's upsetting as a person who plays that killer though, I play a lot of spirit myself. (not a ring abuser i promise)

  9. What I hate most about the DC/give up thing is that I'm expected to show mercy to the remaining survivors… Like "Oh, we had a DC, you should have let us all go! You're an unfair sweaty killer!" Then they go add -rep on your Steam profile (not that I allow that, because I think it's worthless, even more so because you can just delete the negative comments anyway.) What? No. How about you should have let me just easy kill you all?

  10. The answer to your question, Tofu, is that players of DBD want instant gratification. They don't want balanced close matches, they just want to win every game and stomp the opponent. I see this entitlement more with survivors, but I've had plenty of of killers DC too for out playing them.

  11. I would argue the dried rose blossom is way better than the amulet by a MILE.

You get all the bonus speed, both add-ons remove scratches so no conflicting effects like the amulet, and it makes it so you don't even need to hear survivors to injure or down them.

The rose gives killer Instinct whenever they're within 2 meters of you in phase so as soon as you hear a heartbeat you come out of phase and swing aim dressing will confirm the hit every time. Plus it turns spirit into easy mode and fully counters off the record.

The amulet makes your phase last longer at the cost of nearly half of your speed boost.

But I do agree with your sentiment that the spirit player (map depending) could be stronger than nurse with her best. Maps with a lot of vaults nurse wins but open maps spirit.

  12. I enjoy being chased in dbd. Against a Killer where is basicly no chase Interaction at all, i straight give up, even if it was my own fail. Before some years basicly every match had the potential and that it's not the case anymore, isn't my but BHVR's fault, so blame them.

  13. It's hard to have fun when the killer's skill is much higher than mine. When I go into a match with friends and all of us die one after another in quick succession, then it isn't fun. I'm not faulting the killer. It's just how it is. Call of Duty is fun when you get get a high K/D match, but it really makes you want to quit when you die 30 times and kill 2 people. I don't think it's that hard to understand.
