Bryce, the survivors weren't healed, it's just really hard to hit them through pallets. BHVR added "hit validation" so even if they scream on your end, on their end they didn't get hit. It's super frustrating to get validated at pallets.

For those who don't know, the word "Onryo" translates to "Avenging Ghost". So, basically it's a ghost that's royally pissed off about something and will stop at nothing to claim vengeance on whomever or whatever angered them….often in the form of killing said individual(s). Hisako from Killer Instinct is one example of an Onryo.
